I've read them all and liked them all though Chaos Walking doesn't hold up as a series (at least it didn't for me).
Susy, I agree Chaos Walking as a series is a struggle. I loved the knife of never letting go and then was seriously disappointed by the second one to the point that I still haven't read the third.I will second the recommendation of The One, I have heard it is completely different from the new Netflix so I really want to do a good comparison.
I have also had Firefly Lane on my list for adult.
I'm currently trying to read the Shadow and Bone series so I'm good with that for YA though I also thought of To All the Boys I've Loved Before since I still have not read it and they just did the third special.

Me three lol. The first book is one of my absolute favorites, but the second one was like, “wtf is this??!”
I would vote for Dune (Adult) & a vote for Patrick Ness(YA). I'd be more likely to read the YA book ultimately.
Adult:The Priory of the Orange Tree
Cycle of the Werewolf
A Dog's Promise
YA:
The Language of Thorns: Midnight Tales and Dangerous Magic
Six of Crows
I actually wanted to read Shadow and bone and the rest, since I've never read the series. For now I don't have other ideas.
