**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. MountainKat | 31593 comments I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊

Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.

Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.

PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 8, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉

Hazel (x1f4d6hx1f4d6) | 2965 comments Task 1: For EVERY TEAM!

With St. Patricks Day coming up, everyone is Irish! As a team select whether you are going to read books set in Ireland OR books with an Irish character OR books with a primarily green cover. Each teammate must read a book that fits the qualification selected, no pass for this task.

Please include the team selected qualification in your completion posts. Remember you need to include how you know your book qualifies! I need to know where to look to confirm your book, include any info or links as necessary. If choosing the primarily green cover, it needs to be over 50% green to be accepted. Don’t forget to use the first edition Kindle page count!

Thanks Hazel! We weren't prepared for this one. Hahaha! I have no preference.

Suzanne | 514 comments Should we do books with an Irish character? I'd assume if we do that if we find a book set in Ireland, it by definition has Irish characters :)

Yeah Irish character is good for me. That’s also a good list Cyndee. You would think if it’s set in Ireland it would have some Irish characters. Hopefully April will be ok with Irish characters.

message 28: by April (new)

April Raimond | 1422 comments I am good with that.

message 29: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne | 514 comments I think I'm going to do Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning . It's set in Dublin - so I'm assuming Irish characters :)

message 30: by April (new)

April Raimond | 1422 comments I read in Q and A has to be tagged Irish.

message 31: by Suzanne (new)

Suzanne | 514 comments My book is set in Ireland but it is also tagged Irish 13 times. So I think it'll work either way (I hope anyway). Probably if it says in the description "xxx has lived all her life in Dublin" or some such thing, that'd be fine too.

But anyway - I'm covered unless we switch to green :)

Review: I enjoyed this humorous sports romance. Lucy and Sean have a lot of similar insecurities. Lucy is outwardly friendly but has a lot of anxieties that cause her to steal while Sean is outwardly hostile due to a cold upbringing. Sean is also a team mate and enemy of Lucy’s rugby playing brother so when the 2 of them hit it off it causes a lot of drama.

This is a difficult one for me to rate/review. Some parts cheesy and cliché, some parts heartwrenching, some just downright fun, I was all over the place with this one. And Karina Halle definitely enjoys the use of the word "so." Made me want my very own filthy-talking Irishman though. :D
