Review: well I'm not really in a mood to read theses days and usually, I like this kind of book. My mistake is, I found it only written in French, and the translation is absolutely horrible, and I have a lot of difficulties to stay focus on the story instead of the language. I hope the next task will be ono for which I can read something lighter.

This was 80% Micha crying and 20% cute. Swift was the one saving this book for me. He was a rock and deserves a gold medal for dealing with Micha and all his baggage.
Loved the ending but I was seriously struggling to get there.

Yeah no...the two previous books were great though...

Review: This is a story about 2 men who meet when one accuses the other of cheating with his boyfriend. But the other thought HE was the boyfriend. So they discovered they were both being cheated on, told the cheater to bugger off, then went off and had angry rebound sex with each other. Which ended up being so explosive they started seeing each other.
I actually quite enjoyed this. There were a lot of sex scenes, but they were very detailed and well written and steamy. The biggest issue between them was the one's ability to trust the other, but they made it and got their happy ending.

Review: 2nd time around this one, I really like it. And I need to read the next book lol. I like borderline characters :D

There should be, but I'm lagging... Sorry! I will get it done, hopefully this week. 🤞🏼

I'm really sad I didn't enjoy this book more. I'm a huge fan of Max Walkers writing and I adored the first book in this series... I just didn't feel this one.
Benji and Rex have know each other for a long time and they have history together. Rex is Benjis older brothers best friend and used to be close to the whole Gold family. However, after a few nights of passion between Benji and Rex things goes horribly wrong. Fast forward six years and one day and Rex is suddenly back in Benjis life. Is it for good this time? Of course it is. It's a romance after all.
I really liked Benji in the first book and was excited about meeting Rex. It wasn't the same Benji meeting me in this book though. This Benji was much more immature. Almost childish. He and Rex were great together, I just didn't feel it.
The book was sort of slow, I didn't really get what kind of story the author was trying to tell. Was it just a sweet love story? Or a mystery? The mystery came really late and didn't have much impact on the story. It mostly felt like a build-up for the last book, coming up.

A male author....
Let me dig!
Gustaf you're too fast for me^^"
I was slow this time x) read another book first.

Review: So, this one was really just OK. It's a wolf-shifter universe with alphas and omegas and mpreg and fated mates. Lukas had been hung up on his best friend's older brother Owen for years, but had only been seen by him as another "little brother" until he got up the courage to dance sexily for him at a club. Then he goes into heat and they have to have sex and when Owen knots him they realize they are fated mates, but Owen tells Lukas it just can't happen. I honestly didn't think his reasons for that decision were all that believable, and of course one chat with his fathers and he realizes immediately what an idiot he was and tries to figure out how to get him back. So, the main conflict of the book just didn't seem all that solid to me. I did like the characters, and the author certainly gives you a good long happy ending though.

Review: just like the first time, WTF about this end! I'm so frustrated by this first book. You wait the whole book to have a bit of something the last ten pages. Kindle, meet wall. I did wanted so much for Ree and Somers to work, it hurts. I loved everything in this first book.

This was my second time reading the book and it got better this time around. Now I´m really curois as what the characters will get up to next and if the detective with a romantic interest in the MC will get a chance even if the MC has a health problem. It helps that the whole series is currently on KU so I might go on reading it.

Task 6 - 27. Read a minimum of 750 pages in books published in any one year prior to 2018, team picks the year.
As a team select a year earlier than 2018 and then everyone reads books initially published in the selected year totally at least 750 pages. Remember to use the initial publication date - if there is a date at the top of the editions page use it. Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the initial publication date as the qualification in your completion posts along with the team selected year. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count!
