If I remember correctly it is the Bachelor challenge that requires MPG romance. I can' t find the rule but I know someone else asked. Let me keep looking.

Laura | 2514 comments Task 17 - 78. Read 6 books with alliteration in the title or author's name.
A Lie for a Lie (All In, #1) by Helena Hunting
pages: 285 kindle edition
read: April 19
rating: 4 stars
qualifies: alliteration in author's name Helena Hunting
Review: The accidental baby trope is not my favorite trope but Hunting does this well in a couple of ways. I like that the book flashes to the past in the first half of the book and then switches to present day for the last half. Although this book is MPG sports the story focuses more on Lainey and R.J's relationship which is sweet and caring. Hunting does a great job realistically portraying how a person lives with anxiety.

A Favor for a Favor (All In, #2) by Helena Hunting
read: April 19
rating: 4 stars
pages: 301 kindle edition
qualifies: alliteration in author's name; Helena Hunting
review: It was nice to see Lainey & RJ from the first book but I didn't care for RJ as much in this book. I did however like his sister Stevie and Bishop. Good book for #2 in a series. Looking forward to reading book 3.

This book was short and quick, and I liked the how it set up the scene for future books to come. Londyn McCormack leaves her life in Boston behind, driving her restored Cadillac across country to try and reunite with an old friend. But a flat tire, and then other car issues, leaves her stranded in a small West Virginia town. She meets mechanic Brooks Cohen and the two start up a short term romance while she's in town. I liked that I wasn't sure who was causing all the problems, and I ended up being surprised. I also liked how it ended and how it rolls into the next book, but not in a cliff-hanger kind of way

Review: What a conclusion! Things got wrapped up, but not in a tidy little bow. We'll never really know all the answers, but that just makes the story that much more intriguing. As to the couple in this book, I loved them! Ari and Rhett were the perfect couple to end this series with. Ari is so strong and determined to forge her own way, and so confident in her abilities. She was a total badass, but in the nicest way. And of course, Rhett was amazing. He supports her and trusts her so that they work as a team. Great book to end this fantastic series.

Review: God I love Mercy! She's not perfect, but she is loyal, caring, and courageous. I don't understand why so many in the pack can't see that, but I love how she just carries on and does what's necessary without letting it get to her too much. This was especially true in this book, where Adam's ex-wife Christy shows up and we get to see exactly what she's made of. I love love love how Mercy got her back in the end, it was epic. This one is definitely a favorite.

This is a great series. Graham McNeil is a wolf shifter, in charge of a group that has been relocated from Elko to the LV shiftertown. He's been dating human Misty but keeping his distance emotionally, since he knows he has to claim a shifter to keep his pack happy. Then Misty gets kidnapped, Fae get involved and the pair have to fight to keep the shifters from being killed by Fae. Throw in two rambunctious cubs and the story was non-stop adventure and excitement.
