oh my god, i completely missed where it said "minimum number of pages"! I've been driving myself crazy trying to find the perfect number! 🙃🤪

Oh man, I hate it when that happens. Especially when they say they're going to write a sequel and then it never comes out. 😠

Task 20 - 91. Add up the years of the teammates' births and each teammate reads a book with that minimum number of pages. For example, teammates were born in 75, 83, 87 and 94 - each teammate reads a book at least 339 pages long. No pass for this task.

review: I love Allison Brennan's Lucy Kincaid series so I had to try this new series. Brennan does a great job of setting it all up. I enjoyed this new series, I like how it ends and I 'm interested in seeing where she goes with it.

Another great story from Kristen Callihan. I loved how the MC's, former hockey star Lucian Osmond and actress Emma Maron are so different but have so much in common. Both have lost something dear to them, both have lived in the public eye and both are at crossroads in their lives. Luc can't see past his identity as a hockey player, and Emma is still reeling after being killed off the popular TV show she's been the star of. As they lick their wounds at Luc's grandmother's estate, the pair get to know each other and a tentative friendship turns to more. There wasn't a lot of drama or excitement in the book, but I still had a hard time putting it down. 4.5 stars.

Review: I thought this did a great job of realistically portraying what it's like to experience PTSD and panic attacks. The love story was sweet as well, but between the mental health issues and the death of one of the side characters, it was a bit depressing. At least it had a happy ending.

Review: Whew! Watch out, this one may well burn your fingers off! LOL. So in a nutshell, girl gets mad and runs away, guy chases after her, they have wild monkey sex and make up, guy proves himself by following her around while she's on tour, and then something bad happens with his business and he has to fly away. To be continued.
While I am thoroughly enjoying the story, it does make me really mad when the story ends on a stupid cliffhanger just to make the reader go out and spend another $5 to finish it. The book wasn't even that long, so it really feels like a publishing stunt just to milk money out of the reader. Unfortunately, the books aren't available at my library so since I wanted to finish, I got sucked in to the trap. I'd vow never again, but I know myself and my book addiction too well. 😁

I never really got into this book. Like many novella's, there wasn't enough time to develop the characters or to set the scene properly for various dramas that happen. June Bell's dad owns a hotel, and he wants to buy the neighbor's land to expand. Kase McCasker's dad has been hanging on to his dairy farm, hoping Kase will come home to take it over. When Kase does come home from college, June's dad makes another bid for the land, and Kase says he's willing to consider if June spends two weeks with him at the farm. I didn't like how there was tension between the families, but nothing about the cause until the very end.

This was fine.
Quick easy to get through read. I'm enjoying the side story of the whole drama between shifters and fae but the actual romance is quite intriguing but the whole wolf that doesn't want to be her mate is getting old and I'm hoping that'll resolve itself soon but that won't be for a few books I can already tell..
Aside from that its a romance I could easily read again or never again.

In all seriousness, they keep working and then breaking so unfortunately I have no faith GR have fixed it until its worked for a few days.

This was a cute and short office/Christmas romance. Gregory Peck is still getting over his break-up from a year ago when someone starts leaving gifts on his desk. Ashley Montgomery is a new employee in Greg's office, and he tries to make friends with Greg, but Greg puts him off after every overture. After Ash has car trouble, the two start hanging out and one thing leads to another. There were too many things going on in this book considering it was so short - Greg's ex coming back, his mom's love life, both guys had health issues, mixed signals from the boss......but I did like the two guys in the story

Review: Very slow moving and a bit boring unfortunately. The best part of the story were the kids, which is sad when it's supposed to be a romance. But the whole story had kind of a sad feel to it, which was kinda depressing. The fact that the book took place right around Christmas didn't help either. Not one of this author's best, that's for sure.

Honestly confused how I rate this and review it.
One part of me thought this was a pretty entertaining book. Nice read.
The other part can see a fair few things wrong with this book. It doesn't tell me anything; why is she hunted, why was she kidnapped why does she have multiple mates.
I get this is the first book but it should at least answer some of those??

review: This was so worth the read just for the funeral home scene. I liked this book more then book 1. I really enjoyed the humor, suspense (the murder was well done) and the ending. I can't wait to read book 3.
