season 1 is superior imo
the characters and the aesthetic in season 2 just weren't as good as season 1

good point - but tbh, imo, i thought the plot was better constructed /more fast paced in s2 - not that s1's plot wasnt amazing tho

I liked the Umbrella mansion setting better because it fit the character development so well, S2 kind of wrecked a lot of the characterization. Diego was borderline unhinged in S2 compared to S1 where he spent all his effort on training and keeping himself composed. And Vanya's storyline just kind of cut off with her memory. All her rage was gone and she suddenly had almost perfect control of her ability and it didn't make any sense when S1 spent so much time building up to that climax
