Here in India, after 10th grade, we can choose between a bunch of subjects that may be favourable for the field we wish to choose after 12th grade. aaannnddddddd we spend the next two years, that is 11th and 12th grade, preparing for different entrance exams for different colleges depending on the field you wish to choose. I believe that's what happens in other countries too. or at least something similar.

I still don't understand why parents desire that from their children here? we have to choose our careers according to their desires.
