What challenges and distractions have you faced this read-a-thon?
This snow storm has me all out of whack. My husband was home Monday and Tuesday, which... I mean, I love him, but he is quite distracting when I'm trying to read lol. I'm also reading only Black authors this month and the level of trauma in so many of these books is tough so it's taking me longer to read them.
What is your favorite book so far?
How the One-Armed Sister Sweeps Her House by Cherie Jones was a surprise favorite. I bought it during Amazon's Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale last week, and picked it up even though it wasn't on my plans for the week, and wow I loved it. Definitely levels of trauma there, but the writing was beautifully done.
How's your team and individual challenges going?
My team is quietly getting things done. Every morning when I check the spreadsheet, it seems we have more and more checked off! I admit that I haven't looked at my individual challenge at all, but I'm on track with the number of books I wanted to read so that's enough for me.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
Finally finished All Boys Aren't Blue, which I did NOT like but plowed through anyway. Also read two other books.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I would like to start and finish another book (probably Not So Pure and Simple), and at least start another one. Husband should be working all weekend, so I can probably knock out that second book before I go to sleep on Sunday, but we will see.

I just had a complete lack of motivation to read for a couple of days but I am still going to reach my goal so it is fine.
What is your favorite book so far?

How's your team and individual challenges going?
I have read 3.75 of the five books I am hoping to finish this week.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
see above :-)
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
To finish the last two books and pick out what I want to read after the readathon is over

Books! I keep starting new ones when I haven't finished the ones in progress.
What is your favorite book so far? One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow
How's your team and individual challenges going? We have 23 prompts left, and 13 wildcards. I haven't done anything with the individual challenge yet.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? 1482 pages, 20.5 hours of audio, 7 books, 1.5 jigsaw puzzles.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Finish:

What challenges and distractions have you faced this read-a-thon?
As I posted in my team thread, every time I finish a book, I have to update it in about 5 places for different challenges/tracking just for ATY, plus 3 challenges from other groups - well, that was my choice to participate in them!
What is your favorite book so far?
Don't Forget to Smile - an early book from an author I enjoy. She writes contemporary romance but there is always more depth to it and a group of friends & family with their own stories.
How's your team and individual challenges going?
We are doing fine on Team Tulip, but many people have had life issues (such as no power!) that are a concern. It is my first time being a team captain and I am trying to be encouraging but also supportive.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I have finished 6 books! 2 were in progress when we started and the others were short. I try to save up short books for these events.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I want to finish 3 more books, which I am currently reading or listening to.
I want to give credit to ATY for helping me get through many more books than usual last year. Yes, the pandemic had an effect but largely it was because of Readathon and other challenges that I went from my usual 100 books a year to 150!

What is your favorite book so far? I am still working my way through it but very much enjoying The Midnight Library.
How's your team and individual challenges going? I am on a team of some amazing readers we just got some new prompts.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? I have finished 3 almost 4 books.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? Hopefully get 2 or 3 more books read.

What is your favorite book so far? I've only read I Let You Go which I've enjoyed. I'm a third of the way through Vanishing Girls which is turning out better than I expected.
How's your team and individual challenges going? Our team is kicking butt. I decided not to do the individual challenge. I wanted to focus more on getting my winter challenge complete and staying ahead in the overall challenge.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? I read I Let You Go
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? I want to complete Vanishing Girls, Paris for One and Other Stories and Mooncakes

What is your favorite book so far? Master and Commander but it's a reread and an old favorite; of the new books I've read, I liked Yesterday Is History and A Chorus Rises best.
How's your team and individual challenges going? Team Tulip: Pretty well, I think! We have a lot of wild cards accumulated, I believe, so I suspect we could go from 50-100 really fast, as it were.
Individual: I keep not reading the ones I thought I'd prioritize, and reading my back-up TBR first, but that's fine, lol. I set out to read one of each color of heart, and I'll definitely be able to accomplish that and probably a little extra.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? Read a few arcs I needed to review, which is good. 6 books total so far, and I have several relatively short books left on my list.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? I want to finish Phoenix Flame, The Honey-Don't List, Flowers of Darkness, Westmark, The Kestrel and maybe one more audiobook but I keep flitting between different books for that and not settling to any one. So we'll see on that front.

I ended up marathoning Firefly Lane on Netflicks instead of reading.
What is your favorite book so far?
Before the Coffee Gets Cold - I didn't have high expectations going in and I loved it.
How's your team and individual challenges going?
The Team is going great and for my individual I have 1 regular Bingo, and now I'm going for all the purple hearts. I also decided this time to NOT look at other teams, so I'm not feeling as much stress to be competitive.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
7 books finished with a total of 2032 pages read so far.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I have 2 books I'm currently reading I want to finish (Austenland & What If It's Us), but all these other shiny books keep getting me to read them instead.....

None, really. I've been listening to audiobooks almost constantly, and reading physical books at night.
What is your favorite book so far?
The Poet X is so, so good!
How's your team and individual challenges going?
Team Rose is doing well! 18 prompts left, and 14 wild cards earned. On the individual challenge, I've completed 4 books for all the 💙 hearts. Working on 💟 hearts. It's a fun challenge.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've finished 8 books (some were short).
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
Finish The Little French Bistro, Nothing to See Here, Sanditon and maybe one more.

What is your favorite book so far? My Sister, the Serial Killer
How's your team and individual challenges going? Individual challenge is slow; the rest of my team is doing well
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? Finished 2 books
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? Reading at least 2 more books

Not too much, surprisingly, but this was my last week working partially from home.
What is your favorite book so far?
Red, White & Royal Blue
How's your team and individual challenges going?
I'm Team Tulip and I think we're doing pretty well. I'm also doing better than I expected on my individual challenge too.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I've already read 4 and 1/2 books!
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
I'd ideally love to finish the A Curse So Dark and Lonely trilogy, but I'm currently only halfway through the first book. I can probably finish one more, but it's very unlikely I can finish both.
