Review: In Nocturne Falls, it is Halloween every day, which means its a great place for supernaturals to hang out and be themselves. I'd recommend the series for fun, light reads.

In this story, Lucien, who is a grim reaper, is living in regret for a terrible accident. He meets a genie, who is being hunted by someone who wants to own her and sell her wishes. Lucien is determined to help her.

I always like these books, but they make me want to move...and be supernatural :)

review:
I probably shouldn't have waited so long to read this. I know I am in minority on this one but thought it was just okay. I may not have finished it if it wasn't for a challenge. I really don't like the 2 main characters Cat and Bones. The action and storyline were ok.
Not sure I will continue on with the series.

I'm guessing a Jeaniene Frost one from the review hehe.

Eldarwen | 2200 comments It was only after the 4th book that I found the series getting better. I mostly read it for story line and side characters because I wasn't all too fond of Cat and Bones either. Especially Cat at times.

I've enjoyed the spin-offs a lot more!

Suzanne | 852 comments I have liked the 2 spin-off books that I've read so far. It has been long enough since I read the early Cat & Bones that I don't remember a ton of specifics, but I do remember getting annoyed fairly frequently.

Good to know. All the reviews were so positive... thought I missed something.

Eldarwen | 2200 comments The mother was the worst.

While I enjoy a good villain in a story, a person you truly hate, she was getting to be a bit too much.
