My 2nd book by John Scalzi and I really appreciate him and the entertainment he provides. Even though sci-fi is not my usual genre, but I think I am going to check out more of his books. Especially as my husband is a fan and collects his books. :)

I was driving around for about 2 hours to main city and school runs I audio booked and the other book was only 100 pages I read that in an hour x

So glad to start! This is always super fun. I just finished my 2 books I was reading before so am starting fresh tonight with a print book and an audio book for tomorrow. Phew! Hopefully I can finish at least one of them by the weekend - and if we go up north 5 hours to ice fish for a long weekend I'll get extra reading time in. :)

I already read the paperback edition of this book and I liked it a lot, so I bought the audioble version and the narrator, British actress Lucy Scott, was excellent.

could you please check "The Darkest Seduction" please? While it is on your uno shelf, it does not show a read date there. Maybe it's just a GR glitch, as otherwise it actually indicates that you finished reading it.

Also, it's not only main characters that count for cards.

Dear lord, how do you manage to read so much. I am delighted with myself when I manage to get a couple hours together. We'll done everyone,;anyway, I have started one of my books and I've read about 40% or so.
Can you explain to me how to add the points once I finish the book. I know you sent a pm to me Melindam but I could not find what I'm looking for, sorry about that.

just read at your own pace and enjoy it. :)

Once u finish a book, please make sure you mark it as read here on GR, and put the right edition on your uno shelf. Also post the completion in the thread.

Also make sure you have the book on the tracking sheet with all the info and the read date.

Only Heather and I can edit the official Team sheet to avoid confusion. But you can add every info on the tracking sheet which makes also our task easier when we decide which books get allocated to which cards.

I finished it today 3rd February and enjoyed every mi ute I read. It was really funny, I found myself giggling like a lunatic and also very sad. I gave it 5 stars cause it is a book I would love to read again.

a Fantasy combination of political intrigue, coming of age and whodunnit with a positive outlook/outcome, where the majority of characters stays alive instead of dying cruel, overdramatic or unnecessary deaths.

I am terribly sorry, but this book cannot be used according to the UNO rules. :(

As GR says that it is both illustrated and children's book, it either has to be with a word count of 25000 (which I couldn't find) or the audiobook must be over 3 hours. I checked this on audible and it is only 1 h 44 min.

"...Children's books, Graphic Novels, Manga, Cook Books, Plays and Poetry books can not be used unless by word count they can be verified as more than 25,000 words using arbookfind.com or more than 3 hours of audio using a reputable website (e.g. audible, overdrive). ..."
