I’m trying to read 50, things have been a bit chaotic recently though so i’m still on my first one hehe

Aww thank you! :)
I’ve read 38 now.

I want to finally finish all the mainstream book series before moving on to philosophical works (Osamu Dazai, Albert Camus, Haruki Murakami, Ray Bradbury etc)I'm almost done with A Series of Unfortunate Events (I LOVE IT SO FAR), and then afterwards, I'm going to try and finish Percy Jackson (never read any of the books in my life).
Elisabeth wrote: "Oh I’m currently reading the second book on a series of unfortunate events:)"I'm on the 7th :'). It's really slow at first (I remember almost dropping it after reading the 2nd book), but begins to pick up some speed during the 4th book. The 5th book blew my mind (exaggeration, but GAH, the series starts to develop some more layers). I really love Lemony Snicket's wittiness <33 Everything about the series is so quirky
That’s good to know bc I’m not very impressed still, I gave the first one a 3-stars, and I quite rarely give books less than 4 stars.

I LOVE THE NETFILX SHOW! I was just watching an episode yesterday!

Which one was the 5th one??
@Tisha (the messaging on this site sucks ass, not sure how to give you a direct notification lol)I'm pretty sure it was the Austere Academy. The ending was unbelievably good, imo. I wasn't expecting it. Though the themes get repetitive, a bit of ✨ mystery✨ starts to get integrated which is cool.

Aha, lol. The ending was with Count Olaf capturing the quagmires right? What happened? IDK I only watched the series. Plus, yeah I was watching the series with my parents but after we finished The hostile hospital yesterday, they started to get a little bored.
My main goal is to read 100 books this year. Additional 2021 reading goals could be found under this linkhttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I'd like to read about 25 books this year, not including the ones I read for my literature club. I'd like to read more non-fiction and more poetry. I'd also like to finish a lot of the books on my shelves before buying any new ones! :)

It sounds like I’m in good company- I set my goal at 20 for the year and once I started adding all the books I’ve already read, I realized I might need to bump it up to 50! :)
I'm trying to read more than last year (50)
My goal is to read 50 books by the end of the year, so far I'm on track, 21 books so far. However, I know when I start back to placement in May I won't have the time to read as much as I'd like too.
Ah, my reading goal feels very feeble compared to everyone's on this page T-TI want to read at the very least 10 to 12 books and catch up with all of Leigh Bardugo's releases (minus her DC book which doesn't cater much to me).

WOW! I doubt I can read that much so quick! And they say I'm a fast reader...
My goal for 2021 was 30 books, and i just completed it! (yay!) I barely read any books last year so i didnt think id read so many this year lol. My new and improved 2021 goal is 100 books :)
I'm not sure how many I want to read, but I want to finish my TBR of regular books, read my classics TBR, and get a start to my diversity TBR. :)

It's only because I am trying to distract myself from all the uni work I need to do. procrastination at its best!x
My goal is to read 20 books! Might be able to up it since I am already at 8/20 and it's only February but I will take it slow because uni is supposed to be really though this semester and I want to do good! Happy about it though, feel like I have found a really nice safe space in books :)
I wanna read anywhere from 450-1000 books this year. I want to stop holding books on libby verses reading my current physical tbr.
Emily wrote: "I wanna read anywhere from 450-1000 books this year. I want to stop holding books on libby verses reading my current physical tbr."1000??? All I can say is GOOD LUCK!
My goal is 100 books, which shouldn't be too difficult for me. My bigger goal is to read more of the books that I already own, since I have a lot of owned unread books.
my goal this year is to read 50 books, and if i can reach it then 100. i go trough phases bc of my depression, sometimes i read 5 books in a week and sometimes i spend a whole month without touching a book; that’s why i’m starting small. tbh i hadn’t read a book in the whole year until this week, now i’m on my third book.i hope i can keep it up but we’ll see. so basically:
~50 books
~1 classic (at least) every month
~most of the books that i already own but haven’t read
and that would be it
My reading goal is small but I am just getting out of the slump. I want to read at least 20 books. I'm expecting my self to read more though.

hi, my goal is 80, but I have a rough start so we'll see how this goes, I am not gonna be to hard for myself, because the world is already hard enough.
