message 24: by Anna (new)

Anna I want to finish the Maze Runner series as well! I reread the first one in 2020 (I guess today wouldn't work anyway XD) and I actually...loved it, so I want to read the rest!
I want to read some more classics, too, and reread a bunch of the books on my shelves since they deserve that.

message 25: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (boozybook) | 617 comments Loll I just want to read

message 26: by eli ♡ (new)

eli ♡ | 2464 comments -Read at least 100 books this year
-read a lot of the books I have on my TBR list (there are so many books I want to read, so I can't even remember them)
-read "Concrete Rose" when it's released because I've been wanting to read that for soooo long
-write reviews for every single book this year (I barely wrote reviews until the end of last year, so I need to write more)

message 27: by Akshita (new)

Akshita | 823 comments I've set my goal to 21 books (though I'll probably end up reading much more than that)
Other goals,
-finish reading all the Shadowhunter books.
-only write reviews if i want to, no pressure.
-try out new genres (historical fiction, epic fantasy, classics, non-fic)
-actually taking my time with each book, not reading in a rush just for the sake of statistics.

2021 is, academically, a super important year for me, basically my entire future career depends on what i'll do this year. So I am gonna try to keep reading just as a fun side thing, without any huge tbr goals.

message 30: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea | 2 comments I'm trying to get out of my reading slump so I'm starting a soft goal of 20 and increasing it as I go. I've been really struggling with my depression the last few years and my reading took a big hit so I'm not gonna set some big lofty goal, I'm just gonna be happy with starting again ya know?
I am gonna try to read some books that are outside of my go-to fantasy. Why I started reading pride and prejudice for the first time.
Gonna try to stay active in the couple of book clubs I joined.

message 31: by Erin (new)

Erin i'm gonna try to read 150 books

message 32: by Jainey (new)

Jainey (jaineydrenth) | 23 comments Hii! My goal is currently 25, since I wanted to start off easy and maybe increase as the year goes on. I used to read a lot, but with school it all was a bit too much. But right now I’m back and better than ever! Currently I’m reading the last book of the hunger games series, and next imma read the maze runner (again, but shhh;))

message 33: by Fal (new)

Fal (faltheereader) | 13 comments I want to read 52 books this year (chances are I will read more).
I want to read more nonfiction, translated works, and works by ownvoices authors.
I also want to decrease my physical tbr down to 10%!

Anna I am going to read 365 books this year. Not all chapter books, of course, since that's a bit insane. But 365 books, anyway.

message 40: by eli ♡ (new)

eli ♡ | 2464 comments are you only going to write a review for the chapter books? I can't even imagine reading 250 books in a year, let alone 365.

i have no idea...literally my only goal related to studies is to study enough to get above 95% in 12th, and pursue Neuroscience...where is undecided. I was thinking of studying abroad, but then I thought instead of dreaming of that, I should probably study first
