Wow! Hadn't heard about the Matt Helm series since, probably, the 1960s! Read a few of them, but, don't remember why I stopped reading them. Just might look back into some of them.

Thank you for that!

Araych | 676 comments Dark Voyage Dark Voyage (Night Soldiers, #8) by Alan Furst by Alan Furst

Not a mystery but rather a thriller, detailing the adventures of the captain and crew of a Dutch freighter in and around the Mediterranean and Baltic Seas for 3 or 4 months of 1941. Told from the perspective of the captain who guides his ship and crew through the seas and ports during WW II. I must say I absolutely loved every word of this book. Furst presents wonderful believable characters and the plot just flows right along. Highest recommendation, 5 stars.

Survive the Night by Riley Sager

It was on my Kindle a long time already. Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Now, I need to start another book but I can't choose. I'm trying to decide between The Final Twist by Jeffery Deaver (third part in a series I haven't read the first two from), The Key in the Lock by Beth Underdown (found in the Read Now section) or should I really treat myself and go for Something to Hide by Elisabeth George, one of my favourite authors? I have currently 13 books on my Netgalley list and 3 on my Edelweiss list, but I'm also trying to find time to read some of my other recently downloaded books.
So many books, not enough time to read...

Andy Carpenter #13, OK to read as a standalone. Sorry -- I love this series but this isn't Rosenfelt's best. Plot is a bit too busy and complicated and there's a whole subplot he never explains. 3 stars.
