In my opinion this one is the best of the series so far, and I was fine with the 900+ pages. Enjoy your reading!

Rivers of London #4, read #1 first. Wonderful entry in a wonderful series -- sort of Harry Potter grew up and joined the cops. Modern day English police procedural, with humor, and magic is real. So of course the crooks use it just like they'd use a getaway car. This entry has a twist ending I didn't see coming and neither will you. 5 stars.

The thing is that I didn't order it, so it was a surprise. I can't even begin to describe this book, but it's really very good -- in some spots laugh out loud funny. I see myself giving copies of this book to a few people I know who would appreciate it.
