Please post your shelves. NO COMMENTS in this thread please. After I post the pair, it will add a link to the shelf, and then you can add discussion comments.

How It Will Work:
1) Please only post no more than 10 books that you would like to read this month.
*minimum 5 books.

2) ROLL the the dice. The number that you roll will be pick the TWO BOOKS from your posted series you read.
For example, if you rolled a 2 and a 4, then you will read the second and fourth book on your posted shelf.

Next Month, we will resume with assigned picks

5) Please try to select for your pair ASAP as we all get excited and waiting is torture to some.

I finished both of my picks this month. My favorite was Graveyard Shift, I really enjoyed the ancient Pharaoh and vampire as vice cops theme. It has a clever plot line too. The Ghosts of Varner Creek was a less enjoyable, as I'm not a huge fan of the "good woman winds up with a bad man and tragedy ensues" trope, but the young main character and his psychic abilities was interesting. It was also set in the late 19th/early 20th century and honestly I just didn't get a sense of those eras at all.

I finished both my picks. Doubleback was a good start to a series and I gave it 4 stars. I'm a sucker for an Alpha male cop and this series gives me two. I also read Just Friends which was good 3.5 Stars. Pretty typical friends to lovers but it was cute and I needed a low angst happy ending book so it fit my mood perfectly.
