Does anybody know what this book is called?
It's about a boy whose family has some kind of powers and the boy uses his powers to manipulate people into getting what he wants. He falls in love with a girl who isn't interested in him and then uses his powers on her. From what I can remember the main character is a jerk and is portrayed as a villain. I also think it's set in our time.

I put it on my reading list (not Goodreads) two years ago, but unfortunately, I lost it.
Any help is appreciated.
