Yeah that story had teeth, vicious stuff... her Newsflash series and short stories are so good, big fan as well.

That's always a pleasant surprise, I read her previous work but I do have this in audiobook format, hope to get to it this summer.

They are a mix of thriller and horror books. But I've decided to go back and read all the J.A. Konrath books in order. It's been so long for some of them that I don't remember what happens and I never wrote reviews so I'm starting all the way back with Whiskey Sour and working through the List on his website

That one has been on my TBR for quite a while. I’d be curious to hearing what you think of it.

It starts great, really grips you and just takes off into crazy land, I absolutely loved it, it's a great weekend read for sure if you have a chunk of time to carve out of your schedule for it.

I'm trying to read Piranesi but I'm having a really hard time getting into it. 'bout ready to throw in the towel.

If it's not enjoyable then you're technically doing chores, I say put it away and find something that you actually want to keep picking up to read :)

I decided to keep on reading The Regulators, already very intrigued by certain use of names in here, compared with Desperation, since they share something.
The Regulators
by Richard Bachman
There's a place in Wentworth, Ohio, where summer is in full swing. It's called Poplar Street. Up until now it's been a nice place to live. The idling red van around the corner is about to change all that. Let the battle against evil begin. Here come...The Regulators

very impressive, i find it too creepy , very blasphempus too, but, i like it :)
I'm currently re reading Mockingjay (the hunger games) and HP and the chamber of secrets. Also finishing up with Just kids by Patti Smith.
Hey, all! I’ve just finished Colony by Benjamin Cross. I’m still reading: Horror Classics, Murder Mysteries and Supernatural Thrillers by Richard Marsh, The Scapegoat by Daphne du Maurier, Short Stories by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Horror Stories of Robert E. Howard and History of France by Matt Clayton. I haven’t started The Magpie Coffin by Wile E. Young, yet. I’ll be starting that in a few days. Many of the books l have listed, l am reading for one group or another. I belong to five different groups.
I finished up reading
You Love Me . This is the third book in the series that started with the book YOU. Joe is back and he is still crazy!
I just finished
The first book in what is, I'm sure, going to be a wonderful new cozy mystery series. It reminded me of A Curious Beginning and I just adored that series. But I am getting back to form. I am getting ready to start
. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Mira Grant/Seanan McGuire. I despised the Newsfeed series so much even saying the name of the series makes my blood boil. But I found that I have enjoyed the Wayward Children Series, even though I don't generally care for fantasy. So we shall see how it goes.

Nice! I recently (finally) got the All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries, #1) ebook after seeing it everywhere, adding it to my mountain sized TBR.

I liked the series so far! I bought this one, which is the fifth one and there is a sixth coming out which is up on NetGalley.
Well I am making my way through J.A. Konrath's Books ( I see there are a lot of other fans out there ) and going by his list of the order to read them in I just finished The List . I'll get back to the Konrath book soon but I just got approved for an ARC of The Wolf Mile which I'm reading now.
