We are counting last 12 days of this year from 20th Dec though I didn't understand what are you asking exactly? Wherever you are in the book you mean? If that's your question then yeah it doesn't really matter as long as you mean to complete it. The challenge is all about clearing your shelf.
I was meaning geographically. So starting tomorrow for me.

well, it's in italian. Djarah Kan is a italo-ghanese young author, and this is her first book, a collection of short stories about what is it like to live in Italy for black people, especially women. Her language is evocative, sharp and it could have hurt, but she appears to not want that. It was a profoundly changing read.

Review: This accomplishes my last challenge prompt for the year. I needed to read a book off of Oprah's list. I have watched the movie a few times because it's a good story and has good actors. A pregnant 17 year old girl is abandoned at Wal-mart by the baby daddy and she ends up living there for a while. It follows how her life goes and how his goes.

Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... this is a memoir of my partner's grandfather, who recalls bits and episodes of his life under the fascism, the war, the Russia campaign and then as the famous partisan "Silla". It's heartbreaking because he never harmed, killed or stole anything from anyone even in the face of death or terrible living condition. He was a legitimate hero in WWII on all accounts, still he never wanted to acknowledge it until he was almost 90 and his sons convinced him to tell his story. He passed before I met my partner, but now I feel as though I met him, and it's amazing. The power of words.
Edit: it's not on Goodreads, but I'm fairly sure an English version of it exists.

Review: not yet but I enjoyed it. I wanted the audiobook cause I love France's British accent, but I never had time to stay and listen carefully! Audiobooks are not my cup of tea, but I liked this one none the less
@rushali I don't think we should see this as a competition :) everybody has their lives and pace on reading! I'll add maybe only the English reviews anyway, cause not all Italian books are translated!

Review (link) if any: The ninth book of an adult urban fantasy series I've been reading. It follows the grim reaper who is ridiculous, coffee obsessed and sarcastic. This book she wakes up in Sleepy Hollow with no memory of who she is. I enjoy the humor of this series and the plot twists but once I read all 13 books I won't be going back.
So now my challenge is done with 6 books for the last 12 days.
