I’ll be reading “Dead Man’s Walk”. I loved Lonesome Dove and am excited to read the prequel, didn’t get up it in 2020, ready to take it on in 2021.
I have some good ones that I didn't get to:Walt Disney: An American Original
Rosalind Franklin: The Dark Lady of DNA
Titan: The Life of John D. Rockefeller, Sr.
A Dog's Way Home
A Dog's Journey
A Dog's Purpose
Black Spire
The Courts of Love
The Country Under My Skin: A Memoir of Love and War
There are so many!!I wanted to read Clockwork Angel and didn't get to it, so that will probably be my choice.
Exactly, Johanne! I meant to read all of my TBR in 2020 (and 2019, 2018, 2017, ...) so any of them can fit here.
I think this is probably going to be the easiest prompt to complete next year. I have so many books that I haven't managed to get around to reading!
I will probably choose between books I checked out of the library but had to return before I read them:The Overstory
The Starless Sea
The Giver of Stars
The Ten Thousand Doors of January
Untamed
The Shape of Night
Sing, Unburied, Sing
Transcendent Kingdom
Let's see:books that I bought in 2020 but haven't read:
(not counting Black Friday books because I knew I probably wasn't getting to them this year)
Phoenix Extravagant
Ninefox Gambit
books I was really anticipating but never got to reading for some reason:
Harrow the Ninth
Ten Arrows of Iron
The Loop
Call Down the Hawk
books I had written down for my 2020 Popsugar list, but got bumped off by other books:
Girls of Paper and Fire
Heartstream
The Silvered Serpents
The Luminous Dead
worm:
Worm
I could delve into the massive stocks of ebooks I acquired this year but I'm not sure there was much intention to read them in 2020... So to try and narrow it down, the physical books left unread from this year are:Winter in Sokcho
The Midnight Lie
Wranglestone
Wilder Girls
The Bone Shard Daughter
The Only Good Indians
Summerwater
The Lives of Saints
The Betrayals
The Devil and the Dark Water
Over the Woodward Wall
The actual question is what haven't I meant to read in 2020?? Heartstopper: Volume One
Little Fires Everywhere
Bird Box
The Blind Side
Middlegame
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race
So You Want to Talk About Race
and SO many more!

SAME!
SAME!
Having mapped out all the books for Popsugar in 2020 and then read less than half of them, boy do I have a lot of candidates for this one!
For me it will be The Hero of AgesI sooo wanted to complete the trilogy this year but it isn't to be
I have numerous books that I had listed as possibilities for multiple categories this year, and was *sure* I'd get to, but just didn't:The Overstory
The Color Purple
The Old Man and the Sea
Washington Black
The Terror
There are a whole bunch of books that came out in 2020 that I'd meant to read right away, but then I decided to reread the entire Dresden Files (and not just the last one, and the two new ones), so I've got lots to choose from here.

Dozens of these for me. Probably hundreds. :-/ I went with Hanging Falls. It's the most recent in a great K-9 police procedural series set in the Colorado Rockies.
I bought "Realm of Ash" by Tasha Suri last year. There are so many sequels that I want to read but haven't gotten to! This is the one that caught my eye this month.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I read Midnight in Chernobyl: The Untold Story of the World's Greatest Nuclear Disaster for this topic. It was very interesting. It's one of my favorite books I've read, so far this year.
Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Everyone in the world read it last year, and I started the audiobook, but never finished.
I read The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien. I have been meaning to read it for a few years. Finally had a good reason to read it.
The Harpy was definitely on my radar in 2020, and I'm glad I was able to read it. Very nuanced, character-driven, a little magical realism, and so beautifully written!
I enjoy Natalie Haynes radio programme Natalie Haynes Stands Up for the Classics , so I was looking forward to reading Pandora's Jar: Women in the Greek Myths. A lively and humorous look at the troublesome women of Greek myth and legend.
So many books could have fit this category. I chose Famine. I'm so looking forward to the last book in this series.
The Turn of the Key I needlessly read The Turn of the Screw last year. I should have just read this.

I've got The Night Watchman borrowed from the library right now. I know I'm not going to get to it before it's due back.
Because this is unique to each reader, I did not create a Listopia.
