WTG Rosemary!

How is everyone else doing? I have 3 left...a non-fiction war, a historical fiction, and a Christian fiction. The historical fiction book is on my desk, so it will be next.

ha ha, Meg, well done on persevering and most of all of getting it off your TBR.

I wonder if fans of her old novels think her new ones are awful...?

Maybe they do! Although I liked her old novels that i read 20 years ago. I think she and I have both changed over time.

Progress: 21/25 (84%)

message 190: by Marina (new)

Marina (sonnenbarke) | 1513 comments I think I've basically given up on this, more or less. My LOST books were added in 2012, when I used to read very difficult books. I focus on my owned books for this challenge, and while I'd really like to finally get "rid" of them (they've been languishing on my shelves for nearly ten years!), I have no wish nor energy to read them in foreseeable future. Still, I don't want to cross them off as that would mean ditching them, and I'm not prepared to do that.

I sympathize, Marina. Perhaps next year you could use a different list for LOST...or skip it altogether.

Thanks Bea! I'm not too sure I'm going to finish this year though. =( Those last 3 (I'm reading one now) are going to be tough! Not doing so hot on this year's challenges.

Some years are like that. Just enjoy the reading...no matter. Although I finished my LOST list, I have never finished FOUND or Lost & Found. This year, I decided to work on FOUND and Lost & Found at the same time. I will probably not finish either before Dec 31...but that is OK. I will finish them next year.

Blarneygod | 221 comments I finished 8 this year. That is more than I ever have before for this challenge, so I am happy. I think it helps that I have discovered audiobooks, so I can multitask. I also have been mercilessly discarding any books that I no longer want to read, such as most classics.
