I read a few reviews , it seems that it has Archangels , angels, demons, sin ,heaven and hell. I think it counts as having a strong religious theme !
I'm already on disc 4 of In the Woods. So I should finish in time. But I think I will pick up a print copy from the library tomorrow. I have another hold to pick up anyway and this way I can switch back and forth.

I just love this series. I love Vikings, Vampires, and Angels. So I just love Vangels lol. This book is very funny. I really like the author writing style. I had to start her next book in this series right away. If you like any of those type of books (Viking Vampires Angles and I can't get demons) then you will love this series.

This book has some long boring segments. But I should finish tonight. I would have finished last night but I promised a friend I'd go to a network marketing thing with her last night. Kind of ticked off because she said it would only be about an hour. Well she told me to go an hour before I needed to and then the thing went on for 2 hrs once it started. I had a bunch of schoolwork to do as well. Plus I had already told her I would not be signing up for this thing she does. Oh well.

This book was a really good mystery. It was definitely creepy. I really liked the flashing back to when she was a teenager and now. It took some time to get into but definitely grabs you after about fifty pages. I also love that the main character was pretty kick butt.

OK finished. Sorry to take so long. Take Me to the Church" - Hozier

I had really high hopes for this book but I had a hard time with it. There are a lot of long segments in the "hero's" head. And too much "this is why I liked Cassie so much". But then he hurts her so..., The bad guy was a slight surprise and I didn't care for the ending. I didn't really feel any attachment to any of the characters.

Review: as always this series aims to please....the only problem I have now is that I must wait for the next book....impatiently!!
Chris wrote: "Have we seen the Jukebox this week?"Sorry, Chris. We meant to post last night. LK is busy packing and having unexpected friends stop by to say good-bye, so she didn't get the Playlist eMail out to the Teams.
Not many people get books for all the songs on the Playlist anyway, so, the Mods will just use the randomizer and get one that hasn't been called from the Jukebox.
It will be posted a day early, though, to make it up to you. That day won't start as the first day, so you get a "free" day in which to search for the actual song.
Please don't start reading until the regular time!!
Here is the song for Week #6. We are posting a day early; please do NOT start reading until at least 16 hours from now. (8 a.m. PST)
I have a whole lot of math left to do and it's due tonight. So I might just wait to see what ideas people are coming up with.
I have this and it's worth 11 but am going to try and find an audiobook that works because I get through those faster.
❥☪LIZZ NEILL☪❥ wrote: "Do y'all need to read another book this week?"Kate said she'd be able to read for this week so we'll keep you posted . Thanks
No word from Kate or Kim yet?I started my book. It's got the text to speech option so that will help me get through it faster. I couldn't find an audio that I could get quickly from the library.
Catherine wrote: "hey Lizz...want to come to my house and elp me read my HUGE pile of books? lol"sure lol
I'm afraid I haven't made much progress on my book yet because it's not on audio. I've had my Kindle read to me a few times but it's not as portable as an IPOD. I did recently discover that I can have my Kindle read to me through my car speakers by using the AUX jack. So I'll have it read to me on my way to my weight loss group and back. That's 40 minutes round trip.
I tried it before using the USB drive but it didn't work. But it does with the AUX jack and headphone jack on the kindle. Still not as good an audiobook but handy when trying to get through an ebook faster.
just a side note....for next round....could the song get picked early each week (like it was this week)...I work 7 days...and sometimes find it hard to get here to find a book :)
yes that's the one I tried it with first because I had Kindle Unlimited Audiobooks and needed my Iphone for the GPS one day on a mini-road trip. Worked great.
Yeah, Catherine, we were trying to pick a day when all us Mods were available at the same time, and weren't thinking about libraries being closed and people having to go to work so soon after the song was posted. We'll probably shoot for Thursday, if Fridays (US time) are no good for us.

Review: Absolutely loved it! it had me rolling on the floor laughimg at times. poor Kit Bristol! althoough he has quite the adventure...there's no end to the fun...with fairies, pixies, feyin, goblings (yes that's spelt correctly) a circus peformer, a retired (and senile) circus MC, a (possibly) talking baboon, and his horse.....trying to evade the law (both human and fairy)...it is quite the tale!

Yeah my library is closed on Sundays too. It's also closed on Saturdays in the summer which I think is stupid.
Also finished
4.5 stars. I really enjoyed it and found it to be very funny, but at times it was too over the top for me... other than that really enjoyed it and the fun mix of supernatural and natural problems :)
Mary: Harry Dresden's Love Slave wrote: "Yeah my library is closed on Sundays too. It's also closed on Saturdays in the summer which I think is stupid."Saturdays? And it's the only one in town? That is dumb.
I don't get it either.I should finish tonight. Having my kindle read to me via my car speakers is making it go much faster.

I was almost rolling on the floor! I really liked it too :)
Fudge. I can't get the AUX jack to work, Mary: HD♥S. I'll have to see if they have some sort of trouble shooting on-line. However, my car is now in for servicing, so I won't be able to play with it until Friday. Otherwise, I'm taking it back.
