So... somewhere in these multitude of threads on here, there was a discussion thread about what would turn you off from reading a book, And I fully admitted that one of my pet peeves (irrational, possibly, but still something that stops me from even picking up a book ) is if the name of the author can be mistaken for a stripper name then I'm out. LOL.

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 124 comments Unrated
Keane - Her Ruthless Ex 50 Loving States, Massachusetts by Theodora Taylor BWWM A 'Bully Romance' with some highly problematic content... I left unrated because it's not my thing. But I picked it up because of something else in the story I was interested in. As a romance? a total failure. Lengthy review (of just the prologue!) left.

1 stars - all BWWM
An Unlikely Encounter by Aliyah Burke Leaving Fletch A Novella by Xyla Turner Sweet Love by Lolah Lace in this last one, the author felt it necessary to slut-shame (more than once) a group of 12/13 year-old girls who has the audacity to fawn over their celebrity crush...

2 Stars
Snowbound by LaShawn Vasser BWWM, A Mate's Submission (Ozark Mountain Shifters, #4) by P. Jameson WWBM, One Last Dance by Anna Stone BWWW, this last one was just bland.

SassafrasfromAmazon | 179 comments Tina, you are so funny. The only thing that’s irrational is the fact that I even chose this book. I, more often than not, stay away from these type of titles or anything with triplets, quadruplets, and secret babies. Must have been a senior moment🙄. As far as those stripper names, how, oh how, do we choose from the multitudes we come across in IR books these days. Anything goes, I guess. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Lanie | 42 comments Can’t live without you by Cadence Williams. This book was stupid. I realize that writing a book is no small feat but this book was sterile and clinical and redundant.

After this comment, I had to go read your review. Funny! Ugh, some of these KU books aren’t worth it. It’s hard to find gems among the growing number of money grabs.
