The publisher asked me to delete a 'book' from this series, which was added by mistake: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

It's neither a Kindle version nor a hardcover - No ASIN, no ISBN. The author seems to have created it for ARC users and now they'd like it removed, but all the reviews are tied to it as it's the first one created.

Is there a way to remove only this edition - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... - but leave reviews tied to another one?

In the words of the publisher: "If you can delete it without effecting anything or losing reviews, that works. It'll be cleaner. If you can't, then at least a cover change is fine. "

I suggested the cover change in case we cannot resolve the "book" issue. That image was never used as a cover and is throwing off some of the readers, apparently.

Readers are allowed to add ARCs. The author can set a different edition as the default edition from the edit function.
