Thanks Jamie! And no you needn't delete. :)
Perhaps one day that list will be shorter, and I will be able to include images, and sort them in some way that makes more sense. But for now it is LONG and so it is staying nice and simple. The current order is by when I first added a book from the series to Goodreads. As a result, it's mostly series I own at the beginning, and library books (which I don't add until I'm actually reading them) towards the end.A note on the R.L. Stine series: I collect R.L. Stine books and am currently reading in publication order. Right now I'm still in 1991, so I'm working my way through Point Horror and Fear Street, along with some of his standalone books, having completed his early gamebooks and joke books. My next book up is the first Fear Street Super Chiller, and I'm getting pretty close to finally starting the Goosebumps books! (Goosebumps is what first got me into R.L. Stine books and I'm super excited to read them all.)
Progress on The Bad Guys by Aaron Blabey! Now I'm very close to caught up; I just haven't read the one that just came out today.
Progress in the last bit of 2020:
Class Act by Jerry Craft - finished the New Kid series! (So far at least.)
Party Summer and Silent Night by R.L. Stine - first two books of Fear Street Super Chillers.
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens - not actually progress, since this is a reread and I still haven't read anything else in the series.
Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots and Werewolves Don't Go to Summer Camp by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones - started my reread of this series from when I was a kid, The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids. I plan to reread the ones I have, plus I bought a new one a while back; might pick up more at used book stores, since I do enjoy them!
Dreams in Her Head by Clare C. Marshall - second of four books in this series
This Is How You Die: Stories of the Inscrutable, Infallible, Inescapable Machine of Death by Ryan North et al - finished the Machine of Death series!
OK, the fact that I haven't gotten my other threads set up yet (like for finished series) has caused me to fall behind on updating this thread. Soooo here are all the series books I've read in the first 4 months of 2021!
Rick by Alex Gino - Not sure if this really counts as a series book, but it does take place in the same world as George, with some character crossover.
Fairest (Lunar Chronicles #3.5) and Winter (Lunar Chronicles #4) by Marissa Meyers
Strange Planet and Stranger Planet by Nathan W. Pyle - that's the whole series so far!
Escaping Exodus by Nicky Drayden - I loved this book!! There's a sequel but my library doesn't have it; hopefully I get a chance to read it!
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou - Technically the first in a series of her autobiographies, but I probably won't read any more of them.
A Study in Scarlet and The Sign of the Four by Arthur Conan Doyle - The first two Sherlock Holmes novels. Very much looking forward to the rest!
The Unicorn Whisperer, Camping with Unicorns, and Virtual Unicorn Experience by Dana Simpson. That's Phoebe and Her Unicorn #10-12. I was caught up but another one just came out!
Lights Out (Fear Street #12) by R.L. Stine
Lumberjanes Vols. 1-6 by Noelle Stevenson, Shannon Watters, and Kat Leyh. Started the series over; planning to actually read the whole thing this time!
Back to Before (Megamorphs #4) and The Familiar (Animorphs #41) by K.A. Applegate - getting close to the end of Animorphs!
Hunger in Her Bones (Sparkstone Saga #3) by Clare C. Marshall - sometimes I'm not loving this series, but I'll still buy the 4th ebook to finish it up. It's a neat premise and I do want to see how it ends.
Twin Spica, Vol. 12 by Kou Yaginuma - finished Twin Spica! I started this series more than four years ago. I'll have to read it again some time in a shorter time frame so that I remember all the details.
Bat and the End of Everything (A Boy Called Bat #3) by Elana K. Arnold - finished this lovely early chapter book series.
Santa Claus Doesn't Mop Floors (The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids #3) by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton JonesSo, I've made a bit of progress on a bunch of series so far this year! And I've finished two.
Looks like this group has been quiet lately! I went ages without updating again so here are all the series books I read in the last like 8 months!
Out from Boneville, The Great Cow Race, and Eyes of the Storm by Jeff Smith - Restarted the Bone series in spring 2021, but only ended up reading the first three so far.
Lumberjanes Vols. 7-18 by Shannon Watters and Kat Leyh - caught up on the series, at least as far as the public library has so far!
The Three-Body Problem and The Dark Forest by Liu Cixin - Reread the first book as an audiobook, and am currently listening to the second audiobook right now after waiting for it forever! I already have the third one on hold.
Leprechauns Don't Play Fetch by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones - totally out of order but I read this one with a group of grade 2s at work.
Stars Above (Lunar Chronicles #4.5) by Marissa Meyer - finished the series!
Wires and Nerve (Wires and Nerve #1) by Marissa Meyer - started this spin-off series of the Lunar Chronicles.
Dune (Dune #1) by Frank Herbert - I read this one way back in high school, so this is a reread to prepare for finally reading more of the series!
Jerks-in-Training (Space Cadets #1) by R.L. Stine - sadly I only have the first book, and they're kinda hard to find, but I started another R.L. Stine series!
The Secret Bedroom, The Knife, The Prom Queen, and First Date (Fear Street #13-16) by R.L. Stine
Goodnight Kiss (Fear Street Superchiller #3) by R.L. Stine
Hit and Run (Point Horror) by R.L. Stine
Welcome to Dead House and Stay Out of the Basement (Goosebumps #1-2) by R.L. Stine - finally got to start the Goosebumps books!!!
Surviving the City and From the Roots Up (Surviving the City #1-2) by Tasha Spillett - caught up so far!
The Third Planet from Altair (Choose Your Own Adventure #7) by Edward Packard - this one took me ages to get through all the paths, so I haven't felt like doing a CYOA book since.
- Bloom, Hatch, and Thrive (Bloom #1-3) by Kenneth Oppel - read the whole trilogy. These were so good!!
The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane and The Secret of White Stone Gate (Black Hollow Lane #1-2) - whole series so far!
The Witch's Hand (The Montague Twins #1) by Nathan Page and Drew Shannon
Dr. Stone Vols. 1-2 by Riichiro Inagaki
Terror in Winnipeg (The Tom and Liz Austen Mysteries #18) by Eric Wilson - I'm not reading this series through, but have a couple of them.
The Journey (Animorphs #42) by K.A. Applegate
Heart of Stone (High School Hell #1) by I.D. Russell
Paper Girls, Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan
The Body Under the Piano (Aggie Morton, Mystery Queen #1) by Marthe Jocelyn
The Lotterys Plus One (The Lotterys #1) by Emma Donoghue
Well, I just updated my first post above, and there were surprisingly few changes to it after 11 months! Now I just gotta go through the series books I've read. I fear I have likely started more series than I've made progress on...
Ancient Mesopotamia by Sara Green (Ancient Civilizations series)
King Solomon's Mines by H. Rider Haggard (Allan Quatermain series) -not sure if I'll read any more of these.
The Next Passage (Alternamorphs #2) and The Test, The Unexpected, The Revelation, and The Deception (Animorphs #43-46) by K.A. Applegate
Paper Girls, Volumes 2-4 by Brian K. Vaughan
Death's End (Remembrance of Earth's Past #3) by Liu Cixin - finished this fascinating series!
Beach House by R.L. Stine (Point Horror)
The Barcar Children Collection #1: The Boxcar Children, Surprise Island, and The Yellow House by Gertrude Chandler Warner - I found that my public library has ebooks and audiobooks of some of the old Boxcar Children books and there was an audiobook of the first three, so I checked it out. I forgot how old-timey they are! Will probably continue with what the library has and the few I have from childhood.
Cheerleaders: The First Evil, Cheerleaders: The Second Evil, and Cheerleaders: The Third Evil - This is the whole original Cheerleaders trilogy, but two more books were later added, which I haven't gotten to yet.
The Lost Scroll of the Physician (Secrets of the Sands #1) by Alisha Sevigny
Zeus: King of the Gods and Athena: Grey-Eyed Goddess (Olympians #1-2) by George O'Connor - started back at the beginning of this series I've started before.

Aster and the Accidental Magic (Aster #1) by Thom Pico
Heartstopper: Volumes 1-4 and Solitaire by Alice Oseman
The Witch King by H.E. Edgmon - and I've got the second one on its way at the library!
Gideon the Ninth (The Locked Tomb #1) by Tamsyn Muir - very excited to continue this series!!
Cambodia by Alice Klepeis (Country Profiles series)

The Barren Grounds (Misewa Saga #1) by David Alexander Robertson
The Witch Boy by Molly Knox Ostertag - reread this first book in a trilogy.
Saga, Volumes 1-2 by Brian K. Vaughan - started this series over since the 10th book came out! I'm on the waiting list for vol. 10, so while I wait I'm refreshing my memory.OK, that about covers 2022 up to now! I finished two series but started... a bunch. And restarted a few. And made progress in a few.

Final series books of 2022:

Binti: The Complete Trilogy by Nnedi Okorafor - I had read the first two books in this trilogy years ago, so needed to start it over anyway. So I read all three plus a bonus short story in one book.Hoping for 2023 to be a year of finishing more series than I start!

As of this writing, assuming my list is complete, I have 42 series in progress where I could go straight to the next book.
I wasn't sure how I wanted to format this thread; I want it to show my progress. What I've settled on is having the next message be a list of my in-progress series that will be kept up-to-date. After that will be posts on my progress, which will not be edited later.
