Want to participate in OWNtober? You're in the right place!

Simply post your TBR here! (If you'd rather not make a TBR, just write down books as you begin them. Mood reading is a-okay, too!)

For the sake of efficiency, I've decided to merge these two threads this month! Now, when you progress in your TBR, you can update your original comment, add a comment stating your progress, or preferably, BOTH! Whether you've just started a new read, finished a book, or just want to share some thoughts, have at it!

If you'd like to update your original TBR comment as you progress, you can strike through the titles, add (READ) to the line, or whatever else you like. Feel free to add more to your TBR as the month progresses!

NAT.orious reads ☾ (thevoiceofthewolf) | 37 comments This is legitimately my favourite challenge! I have wayyy to many books at home I've been neglecting.

read

A Discovery of Witches - dnf: time actually went by slower reading this, so terminating it was the sensible thing to do.

One of Us is Lying - done: absolutely loved it and can't wait to contiue the journey.

Dangerous Remedy - done: this book is definitely embracing the good side of mediocre.

The Book on Pie: Everything You Need to Know to Bake Perfect Pies - done: it was absolute heaven. I want to bake them all.

definitely wasn't as successful as I hoped I'd be

Nele (neltjuhv) | 30 comments Most books I read, are the ones that I own. So easy.
I'll start with:

* Think like a Monk
* Unbirthday
* Straight on til Morning -> Finished 11th of October
* All for One

Update: adding The Odd Sisters --> Finished October 15th

Update 30th of October: might finish All for One tomorrow, we'll see. If not, 2/5. That's about coherent with the year

3. A Question of Holmes

message 27: by lacy (last edited Nov 01, 2020 07:24AM) (new)

lacy white (ravensandlace) I have been doing this challenge since I moved in August!

My tentative tbr is:

1. Ready Player One (which I have already started)
2. One Danielle Steel book (I haven't quite picked which one)
3. Matilda: Queen of the Conqueror by Tracy Borman
4. Vassa in the Night
5. Killing Kennedy

November 1 edit: I also finished a couple other ARCs but I won't count that. I still have the two books I was going to read (The DS one and the Matilda one but I'll pick those up next month) Overall, I think I did a good job. I'll post my October wrap up on my blog.

Since I work full time, I don't want to commit to a lot of books. I think 3 (three) is a good number.

Curious to see what you think of We were restless things. I DNFed it, didn't like it. It wasn't spooky at all the half that I read. It felt more like another whiny YA.

Hope you like Inkheart. It's one of my favorites.

I enjoyed it. The ending was a little abrupt but overall, it was good! I am such a big geek that I was able to understand a lot of the references. I think it might have helped that I watched the movie first. lol.
