T.--Sorry! Forgot I needed to pick.I was going to pick Ride Steady if you'd given the previous book 5 stars, but since you didn't, I'm worried it wouldn't wow you like it did me. That's the only 5-star I have on your list, so I'm going to pick something that's getting great reviews and that I'm curious about as well.

I’ve been excited to read Ride Steady since I read the first chapter preview in the last book. At that time, I had been reading KA’s book in published order and I still had to get through a few others first. Unfortunately, I didn’t care for the last couple of books I’ve read from KA and it has slowed down my progress. I still have tentative high hopes for Ride Steady.
That being said, I have fallen in love with Backman’s books and since I own a copy of Anxious People, I knew it would take a gentle push for me to read it sooner than later. I tend to put off reading a book when I actually own it and will forever tackle my never-ending library stacks. So, thanks for the extra push. Either choice would have been a win. Although, I must say that when I saw you had my name, I thought Ride Steady was a given. 😂 Thanks for the surprise.

ETA: I've been told that we don't get notifications that someone has messaged us, but if you're on the site, you can see the little red number up at the top right over the "messages" picture of the envelope. That's desktop. I don't ever use the mobile app, so I'm not sure how a new message is indicated there.
