For the sake of fairness and to allow for clear visual images, we’re going to stick to widely known characters for this activity, who have been portrayed in movies or television. Similar to the classic games of “20 Questions” or “Guess Who”, ask the moderator (me) questions, in order to guess the character. Once a character is guessed, I will pick another. To limit the options a bit and make the game a little easier, the source books are listed below.
Rules:
- You cannot use proper nouns in your question. In other words, you can’t simply ask if a character was in a specific book or written by a specific author. You also can’t ask if they were associated with other specific characters.
For instance, for Hermione, you can’t just ask if she was in the Harry Potter novels or if she is friends with Ron Weasley. You can ask if she attended a school for witches and wizards.
- You can ask as many questions as needed but be sure to look at questions asked by others above you
Example:
- Is the character human? No
- Is it in a children’s book? Yes
- Is the character found on a farm? Yes
- Does it have 4 legs? Yes
- Is it Wilbur? Yes
