Thinking about it neither of mine would (both have Es), but your three definitely do.

Maybe I'm on the wrong track with TH
I've also asked the mods about US/UK spelling - as a world with ER at the end could be a US spelling of word we'd spell RE, like centre/er

We know the first word isn't 'the' because it doesn't have an E, so I've been trying to think of other common 3 letter words beginning with T. The one I keep coming back to is 'til', as in 'til death us do part', as it just strikes me as a very book-title kind of word! Is it worth guessing i next to find out? There's a likelihood of i being in the second word anyway, since we have no vowels for that word yet, so might be worth a punt.

I'm up for L. I think out of Trish's Scrabble reference to commonly used consonants, there is L and N we haven't guessed, so any if those two are a good bet, as long as we don't have anything more substantial.
When we next get a guess, I'd back L, N or H. BTW, I realised I hadn't marked completion on Sweep in Peace, so I've done that.

Pity. The Woman in White/White Oleander would have worked if there were more Es. Sigh.

Johanne wrote: "The first word could also be two or too."Yeah definitely - but given that we can't guess o, I think guessing w might be a bit of a long-shot if it's not a very common consonant (going by Scrabble). I'm with Trish, I think L, N or H would be a good next guess.
Had a busy day but I managed to finish my book. This puzzle is tough but I definitely say guess a H!
hahaha thanks Emily!alright white seems a good bet for the common word. Sure you didn't miss an E in the first word, Emily?
Emily wrote: "I.... forgot an E on your board. Sorry. It's been updated... :)"Hi Emily, sorry, just double checking that we are not missing an E from the first word too?
lol I appreciate the grace y'all are giving me with this challenge. Yep, forgot the E in THE. It's updated.
I think the first title might be The Woman in White, assuming Emily missed the letter E in THE, we shall see, no idea about the last word!

Ellie wrote: "I think Trish guessed both titles then!"Oh I missed that! We should probably go for it then?!
Oh my gosh! Well done guys! I've been busy babysitting the nephew all day so I haven't been around to help
I finished my book, so that's another guess. I will make a decision and choose S and T, hope that's okay, and then we still have another guess if anyone else feels like doing a guess.
