The main character was a young female who I believe worked in a morgue or was a detective. She solved a mystery surrounding a death, possibly part of a series but I’m not totally sure. I believe the villain was collecting body parts for some reason.

I feel like the name had something to do with body snatching and the setting was “current” in the late 90s early 2000s. Book was in English.
My guess, also.Recommended from me, some of the books are also available cheaper as an omnibus. Entertaining, but get a little tiresome if read back to back. Have read 7 and own the rest, reviewed and rated the ones I read, a few 4 and a few 5 stars rated.
