Review:
Professional baseball player Gavin and his wife Thea have been married for 3 years and are going through a rough patch. Gavin's teammates convince him that he can find everything he needs to win her back by taking their help and by reading romance novels. I don't often read stories that involve an existing couple from the very beginning and every time I do, I seem to love them. This one was no exception. And I quite enjoyed the idea of a group of men having a book club centered around romance books so they can learn how to better relate to the women in their lives and make them happy. :)

First of all, baseball is my favorite sport so of course I loved Gavin since he plays the game. He and his wife are dealing with some serious marital issues so when he tries to figure out just how to appease her and win her completely back and build up their marriage, his buddies convince him to read (are you ready for this?)...romance novels! lol I LOVE IT! After reading the book and getting insight into the Bromance Book Club the title made so much sense.

Review
Oh. My. Gosh. This book...the mystery...the suspense...the page turner that it is! I was not able to guess who did what in this book and neither could my buddy read partner. We both loved the book.

I thought the writing was done very well. I really liked the characters, some more than others. But what truly engaged me in this mystery was its mystery. I love it when I just cannot for the life of me figure who did a murder(s). The ending was shocking to me and I loved it.

Review: Awesome storyline
Very creative writing, love Fenrir and Darcy story couldn't put it down. Intrigue, drama, suspense, and action. Fenrir was a hell hound shifter who could shift. Darcy was a private detective with a growth imbalance. Definitely a lot of twist and turns. Would highly recommend this series.

Review:
I really enjoyed the story between Emma and Alex. Julia Quinn always does such a good job of taking you into a story and bring the characters to life. I loved how Alex's mother and sister planned a weekend party to try to "compromise" Emma's reputation. The little part where Alex's mother told his sister that she knew Alex was a rake just like his father because he was born just 7 months after the wedding. The sister's response was priceless. The banter back and forth between Alex and Emma brought lots of chuckles. I'm going to have to add this series to my TBR also.

Review:
Harry's grandfather takes him in as unexpected heir to the family fortune if he will marry his cousin. Julius has been hired to train Harry how to dress and act as a proper gentleman. Harry and Julius have an instant attraction and give into it, agreeing to cut it off when Harry's engagement is announced to the public. Yeah...we all know how that always turns out. I would have liked to see more substance in the early development of the MCs relationship but still an enjoyable read. This was my first by KJ Charles but I imagine it won't be the last.

Hi SL - I hate to say this, but your quote only shows Fenrir's name. To qualify, the MC's name has to be less than 6 letters - so we need a quote from the blurb that shows Darcy's name.

It doesn't look like this book will work for week 3's call.

Review: 3 Stars enjoyable
Reid and Sage story was good but lacked the action of the others in this series. Reid and Sage chemistry was a little dry but the storyline was good and got more interesting when her father returned and the battle was won.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. Some parts were great, I loved the pack horse librarian story line, I loved how much value was placed on books and reading, especially to people who barely knew the alphabet. Carry the world is a brilliant fit for the name of the book and Ada was a wonderful lead. But I felt that some of the major plot points were lacking in emotion (Bluebird and Elijah finding out that Ada and Jonah were getting married and their wedding itself) and some of the scenes were so sudden which isn't a bad thing necessarily but weren't given the due importance after the act (death of Ada's father, Mr. Devlin hitting Ada).
So I was seriously considering 3 stars for this but the kids were too darn cute and the Christmas scene at the end really warmed my heart, so 4 stars it is!

OMG, all the feels. Back story, I changed my book at lunch time for this one to meet another challenge. I was like okay let's do the audiobook while I catch up on some afternoon tasks/charting at work. I got like a little bit in and decided that was a bad, bad idea. So, I cut the audiobook off went back to one that held my attention but not as much. Got the e-book from the library and came home and cuddled on the couch with my kindle and a glass of wine. I don't know where to begin but let's just say it the relationship between Miles and Tate was really really good. Miles and his demons that Tate had to try to figure out but didn't know how to figure out. Miles and all his pilot friends including Tate's brother. I will say Cap may have been one of my favorite side characters. One of my favorite parts of the book was when Tate's dad was like "Nope, he's not gay." It was such a good story and the flashback scenes to Miles just had me deep. Now does Corbin and Ian have a book out there that I need to read?!?!

Ian's brother, Ben, is the MC in November 9...and OMG YOU HAVE TO READ NOVEMBER 9!!! But anyway, you get some of Ian's story in that book. :)

I already had that one TBR but I'm going to be good and read a couple of these other books knowing that I can maybe figure out a way to squeeze that one in later this week.
