i read this book back in 1995. it is about twin sisters and one of them is pulled into a old mirror by a girl from the 1800s. who wants to have a sister so she kidnaps girls from different times and places. and when the girls want to go back to their homes and times she kills then. when the one sister from the late 1980s or early 90s gets kidnaped her twin has to pretend to be both until she can save her kidnapped twin from the mirror.
