2) not a movie but the tv show jessie on disney channel was outwardly racist and they outright said a character couldn't get dates because he was too indian... yeah :D i wonder why disney has to exist sometimes
3) i mean, to each their own. it's just specialized dreaming, and since i have sleep paralysis, something similar happens to me where i will something to happen and dream it. it's literally just induced lucid dreaming, and there's this certain state where you're not really awake or asleep and you experience things such as getting up and walking around, only for the vision to end and you realize you never moved at all, and youre still awake and present of what's around you during that time. that sounds suspiciously similar to shifting imo.

1) yes, usually paint them pink and sparkly and keep them long-ish LOL but now i usually leave them short and clear with flowers painted over :3 (ik this is really specific but that's just how i roll lmao)
2) run by bts, it reminds me of (view spoiler)[ such a specific kind of comfort in sadness and nostalgia towards a very dark part of my childhood and life, it's not a song of happy memories but rather painfully beautiful ones. the music video features the members in their interconnected storyline which spans all their songs/mvs and since they all have dar outcomes such as hard family lives, diseases, and all grow up poor and traumatized in the kind of segmented movie thing spanning across their music videos, any sort of joy they experience is together but it has this underlying fear and sadness knowing they're on thin ice and that the happiness is a facade as to how much they have to deal with, and the music video alternates between sad and morbid scenes and happy scenes, and since i experienced a lot of abandonment - not as morbid as what was in the video thankfully lol - i really resonated with that sadness, something about not being okay at all and finding beauty in your unhappy young days was so beautiful to me and the song brings a contorted feeling of sadness inside your heart and makes me cry because of how honestly it represents me.
