“All hail Chancellor Hitler!”
Boom!
“Bow down to Chancellor Hitler!”
Boom!
The sound of each bomb marked his reign. Marked his glory. It was the sound of the war his tyrannical leadership had created. This war had been created by his beliefs that had taken over a nation, and caused millions of deaths, yet he was such a good leader everyone listened. He started a war, but lead on because he could.
Adolf Hitler was known as the chancellor of Germany during the second World War. He is often known as the man who started the war. He may have started the war, but his intentions were good. All that he wanted was to pull his country out of the poverty that World War I had brought upon them.
The Germans were poor and unhealthy. They had no money and if they did, everything was so expensive it was pretty much useless. They were deeply in debt for repairs and other costs for other countries that they had lost the war to. The percentage of people in poverty was higher than those who were not, and this was not what the future chancellor Adolf Hitler wanted.
He felt that Germany deserved better. He felt that they deserved money, and that they should have won the war. He didn't like how they were disregarded. He believed it wasn't fair, and he wasn't going to let it happen any longer.
Hitler was a leader to be remembered. He had no trouble recruiting men to fight for him, to say in the least. He knew how to convince people to stay on his side, with promises of greatness or glory. Sometimes he promised money or goods. Some propaganda included statements like:
"The Jews Brought this War on themselves."
“Under the fold of the flag, our legions fight.”
“Then as now, we remain mates on the German labor front.”
“Hard workers are chosen as the front fighters.”
“Fuhrer, we will follow you!”
There was a lot of propaganda like this, and it convinced the German men and women to do what Hitler wanted them to. He was gaining adherents all the time, because what is a leader without followers?
THE LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS OF HITLER
Adolf Hitler was powerful. People rarely went against him and they listened, because they believed if they didn’t something would happen to their families. He understood human nature very well so he could do things like that. He could use the emotions and nature of the people to his own gain, and with his knowledge, he had the whole people in the palm of his hand. You would have to understand inclinations and thoughts of humans if you are to be an effective leader. He knew what the people wanted and needed in the time of the Great Depression, where they all lacked in money or profit and a great percentage of the people suffered from poverty.
Hitler was also demanding and a great speaker. He wanted what he wanted and wasn’t going to change his beliefs for anything anyone, and he definitely knew just how to speak to win people to match his beliefs. He even was able to convince a church they were killing in the name of God. It was his deep belief in his actions that moved the nation and helped him say the right words. He spoke with a purpose, and as a leader, the strength of your conviction will often determine how far your followers are willing to go through with it together with you.
He was reliant and controlling. He relied on his troops to carry out plans and he wanted others others to do things for him, and was able to make them do what he told them to when he told them, which is a great characteristic for a person to have as a leader.
Hitler was a goal setter. He set goals for himself and the Nazis. Even though some of Hitler's goals were far fetched he did set them, which is a positive characteristic as a leader. If you don't set goals you will achieve nothing in your reign.
The Füher was judgemental. He believed all people who were not Aryan were not pure and not needed. Not knowing people he was still able to judge them by his biased thoughts based upon looks and heritage. He was also a good judge of the men he chose for soldiers. He considered their strengths and weaknesses before acceptance.
Adolf Hitler was a very confident leader. He had confidence in the men that he would send to other countries to fight the other countries for him, and he had confidence that he could achieve his goals. Although in the end his confidence was overturned, he did have it which is something necessary of a great leader.
THE LEGACY
It’s no secret the Hitler’s legacy is not yet forgotten, and won’t be anytime soon. He was the man who started World War II. His acts in the past are still currently affecting the present, though other things finished taking their toll in the past.
The Füher set many goals that were accomplished successfully, and his leadership taught us a lot. He was an amazing leader and left us with the great traits and needs of a leader, so we can know more about how to lead and use your power for the right reasons.
Adolf Hitler will be remembered for the 58 million deaths he caused by starting the second World War. America lost about 300,000 civilians and about 15 million soldiers worldwide were killed.
