Walking through the hallways is like walking through a tunnel. I know everyone outside of my bubble is there, but it's a bunch of muffled voices and I only seem to see what's in front of me.
She is yelling my name. Shouting for me. I want to tell her hi, but I'm mad at her. I'm mad at all of them, and I continue walking, the voices going back to muffled shouts.
I feel as if the air is trying to suffocate me. Too thick to breathe. "Kill yourself," he had told me. He didn't know I'd take the words to heart. Or maybe he did. Either way it hurt. Echoed in my mind.
I had no been told to die twice today, and although I acted as if nothing was wrong, my mind growled the words to me. Maybe I should die.
I had been so distracted in the tunnel that I didn't notice I had passed the class and was about to run into a door.
A gentle hand grabbed my elbow and took me to the counseling office.
