Asking a question that you already know the answer to just to see if they'll lie...
Getting a basic babysitting job until I can apply for McDonald's in December. I've got my route and the babysitting which is about $140 month. Pretty good.

I remember the first time I heard it. When he said it and I heard it in his voice. We'd said it through messaging before. The first time he messaged it he was terrified. Now we can't go half an hour without reminding the other.
It was a fairly short Skype call. My mom had left and we were expecting a lady to come and buy a mattress from us.
I told my little sister I had to use the bathroom and I went in the bathroom and I opened Skype and pressed call.
He answered after 7 seconds. I remember.
Then his face was there. On my screen. Happy and bright. I just said "Hi."
He smiled and said: "Hey."
We were silent for a moment. Staring at the screens. In awe with the other's face.
Quietly he said "I love you Kassi."
I almost burst into tears. I was so happy. I held my kindle close and whispered. "I love you too."
I was so happy... Insanely so... To hear it....
So yeah...

I'm quietly remembering that first time I heard him cry. I saw him cry. It hurt... But it was also relieving. It was comforting to know how much he really did care.
