Will for sure work for N...Nick
Also tagged ‘creepy’

No, I won't finish it. I am working my way through Life of Pi, which hasn't captured my attention yet. I had intended to start Sun Down today, but that's not likely to happen now. If it fits for N, I will add it to round 3.
My audiobook that I am currently listening to is also tagged as "creepy" , so that will cover 2/10 tags.

Awesome!
I finally cried myself through Five Feet Apart. The last 100 or so pages were a bit of a struggle lol
Shannon wrote: "I finally cried myself through Five Feet Apart. The last 100 or so pages were a bit of a struggle lol"Lol, it did take me a few (various) hours of pause to grieve and digest this book (I never got to completing my review of it)... and then I picked another book, a really happy and funny one - Play :)
@Lauren please make sure you add "Nottingham: The True Story of Robyn Hood" to your wheel 5 shelf so we can add it to the list.
My book last book is going to be down to the wire close. I don't think I will have it finished by noon EST. I will probably be closer to the 3pm deadline. So I can either try my damndest to finish for tomorrow after noon. Or I can carry it to the next week. As it's I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer, it will definitely work. It's just whatever is easier for you capitans.
Also, my version of Angels Blood was the audible, so I used the main book page count but I didn't know if you needed me to mention that anywhere on the SS.
KeliOk...so the challenge officially ends @5
Not sure about the other captains availablity, but I’ll set my alarm for 3pm for any last minute finishes.
We are due with entries by 5..if we have to switch or reconcile that leaves enough time
As long as you note audio with your post, we know to check the default pg count.

Cool, if you are happy to check again at three ish, I'll have it up. Ta very much. 😊
I think I’m all in for the this week. I won’t be able to change anything on the spreadsheet because I’ll be at work. I did double my entries yesterday and I think I’m good. 🤞🏻
All my books are in for this week. I was going to try to squeeze one more in, but I'm not going to make it.
Wow I just looked at my earlier post I must have been asleep when I wrote it but I think everyone can get the gist of it or at least I hope they can
My book is on. Phew, that true crime stuff is hard going. Thanks again for checking my update, Tammie.
Vivi wrote: "Finished To Kill a Kingdom. Will update on the SS."It's updated... Will start my 1st book for round 3 now :)

Awesome job on round 2 guys! We did better than round 1.
Team, I'm sorry I am not very observant lately. I gave you a link the actual Goodreads librarian group last week. However, I didn't notice that there was a group of librarians fixing things over in the captains area. It is probably quicker to fix books that way. If you need a book added or a page count updated or anything like that, just give us a shoutout here. We can get it fixed quicker over there.
Hello my lovely people! Hope you're having a wonderful time with this challenge, I know I am. Thought I'd stop by and ask for some recommendations as this new round kicks off. Would love recommendations in the Fantasy or Romance genres (sub genres of both are great!).
Shelby wrote: "Hello my lovely people! Hope you're having a wonderful time with this challenge, I know I am. Thought I'd stop by and ask for some recommendations as this new round kicks off. Would love recommenda..."Hi Shelby,
I really enjoyed:
~ Eagle Elite series by Rachel Van Dyken. (It is a little bit of romance and a little bit of mafia crime. )
~ Lucky Harbor series by Jill Shalvis. (This is 100% sweet romance.)
~ Chesapeake Bay Saga by Nora Roberts (This 4 book series follows 4 brothers.)
I logged 3 books -- unfortunately they were left from last week and only work for one letter. But now I'm on to this week and I'll try to pick books with letters it looks like we will need more. @Shelby, if you haven't read Ilona Andrews -- all of their books have a great combo of fantasy and romance.
In addition to what's already been recommended...I suggest the Night Huntress Series
Black Dagger Brotherhood Series
Immortals After Dark
Fever
Some have classified these as 'cozy'...they are 'light hearted/entertaining PNR Romance
The Case Files of Dr. Matilda Schmidt, Paranormal Psychologist Series
Nocturne Falls
For anyone reading M Zapata this round, Laura from Don Quixote recommended anything Zapata in her post #59
Tammie wrote: "For anyone reading M Zapata this round, Laura from Don Quixote recommended anything Zapata in her post #59"Yay! 🙋♀️I'm reading one 😊

For those reading Dear Martin...I've started reading...in addition to N, it also works for: B Q GIt's proving to be a fast read and very good.
Tammie wrote: "For those reading Dear Martin...I've started reading...in addition to N, it also works for: B Q G"Oh good, I have Dear Martin.
Just finished reading my 2nd book, “The Tattooist of Auschwitz.” I personally loved it. 100% would recommend if you haven’t read it yet
Shannon wrote: "Just finished reading my 2nd book, “The Tattooist of Auschwitz.” I personally loved it. 100% would recommend if you haven’t read it yet"It is a very good book! I thought about putting that on my recommendation list.

Tried Charley Davidson

The Morganville Vampires
Fallen Star & Fallen Souls (spinoff series)
Do you have KU? I can’t think of the name of the series but the author is Victoria Danaan. Decent vampire series. I’m enjoying it but need to get back to it. The first three were good
A few other recommendations for those who might need them:Anything by Fredrik Backman, Mariana Zapata, J.R. Ward or Alice Clayton...I love them all!
I just finished Dear Martin...I definitely recommend that book. It's short and meaningful.
