I enjoyed this story, though some had issues with it being heavy on prose.

message 152: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) Prose? Most novels use it... Do you mean it's light on conversation?

Monica | 39 comments I finished In Seconds by Brenda Novak. I really enjoyed it. The romance wasn't super strong, but that's to be expected with the history of the two characters. And is it wrong I was rooting for the ex-con with a drug problem anyway? Luckily, I've got his story coming up soon in Whiskey Creek.

I think I'm going to start Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven. I've heard good things, and a bunch of authors I follow have raved about it.

In Seconds (Bulletproof, #2) by Brenda Novak Bad Romeo (Starcrossed, #1) by Leisa Rayven

I'm a fan of the series, up to the 4th book and there were events in your post that I've not yet read. Keep in mind when describing a series to keep descriptions limited to the first book.

Thanks for correcting.

Courtney (sekay88) Just binge read Marie Force's great "Fatal" series. LT Sam(antha) Holland ranks right up there with Eve Dallas. No... I didn't think I'd ever say that!

Followed "Fatal" with Alex Kava's Maggie O'Dell #1 A Perfect Evil and Laura Griffin's Tracers #8 Beyond Limits. Both were terrific. Will no doubt read the rest of the O'Dell series and always read Tracers.
