It's been a bit since I posted!
I finished reading Sweet Justice by Christy Reece, Last Chance Rescue #7, and loved it! Here's my review.
I also finished reading Ember by Kristen Callihan, the Darkest London prequel, and it filled in a lot of spaces. I think a case can be made to read it first, too. Here's my review, as well as the review for Firelight.
I finished listening to Snow Blind by P.J. Tracy, Monkeewrench #4, and enjoyed it but like Melissa, had some mixed feelings. Here's my review.
I'm now listening to One to Protect by Tia Louise, One to Hold #3.

I was wondering if you'd finished Lover at Last.

Nope, haven't even started it - well, the prologue. It's one I am supposed to do in Kindle this month as the library didn't have it in audio like all the others. However, I've had little time for reading hardcopy. Only a few minutes here, a few minutes there. I don't like to read BDB that way. I don't WANT to read BDB that way. I want to be able to read it in good sized chunks. It took me almost a week to read all 120 pages or so of Reignite, and I did finish up Rule after about 4 days. I was hoping to get some reading done this weekend. - Lover and now Touch of Frost. My life isn't working out that way :-)
I'm currently listening to [bookcover:Possession in Death|8630481] and just finished listening to

My mom is coming back down from Payson (1/2 way point to her place - she's been staying with my sister while her car was getting fised). Sent dad up home and now will come down here to help watch Delaney as I don't think she should probably go to camp even tomorrow. And even though she is getting better, every time she gets in the car her headache comes back.

I finished listening to One to Protect by Tia Louise, One to Hold #3, and enjoyed it the most of all the stories to date. The dual narrators were used for female and male POVs but weren't used within each other's POV (hope that makes sense). It was a little strange but I still enjoyed their performances, Christian Fox's more than Lucy Rivers. His was just a standout.
I started this series thinking it was a trilogy (the series list hadn't been updated) and now it's up to seven books. I'm just not that invested enough to continue but this book had a controversial ending....time will tell.
I'm getting ready to start a road trip today and will be listening to House Rules by Chloe Neill, Chicagoland Vampires #7.

Now back to Lucky harbor!

Continuing my "reread" (via audiobook) of the ID series. Finished Portrait in Death. Forgot what a seminal book that was.

I love the Skinwalker series also. I'm up to #5.
Courtney, I loved Skinwalker/Jane Yellowrock also. And getting a view from both Jane & Beast is always entertaining.

(Had the potential for a great romantic suspense, but didn't quite get there.)

that would be awesome J.

I finished reading Sweet Revenge by Christy Reece, Last Chance Rescue #8, and, while I enjoyed the story, it is probably the weakest in the series. It has some really good moments but too much repetition of the hero waffling about his feelings. And, I needed more from the ending. 3.5 stars and review to come.
I also finished listening to Captivated by You by Sylvia Day and think I understand why this extra book was considered necessary by the author. While nothing really spectacular happens, it does focus on Eva and Gideon's relationship development and it's well done. 4 stars and review to come.
I'm now reading A New Hope by Robyn Carr, Thunder Point #8 as I need a break from suspense for a moment. I'm also listening to Suddenly One Summer by Julie James. Though the author doesn't officially include this in her FBI/US Attorney series because the lead characters aren't agents or attorneys, they're of that series world.

It's on Scribd, Sandra.

Went on to read:

Moyes is contemporary fiction, which often has the slow middle. Her stories may sometimes have romance and/or mystery but they're minor elements.
I finished A New Hope by Robyn Carr, Thunder Point #8 and enjoyed it a lot! The hero is quite unconventional, full of passion and exuberance. It's a real feel-good story, too.
I also finished listening to Suddenly One Summer by Julie James, narrated by Karen White. I loved the story and couldn't put it down. It really is part of the FBI/US Attorney series as several characters appear in the book. I think James is blundering by positioning it otherwise. For those following the series, consider it #6.
I'm now reading Unforgiven by B. J. Daniels, Beartooth Montana #1, and listening to Breaking Silence by Linda Castillo, Kate Burkholder #3.

I want to continue the J.J. Graves series also, Sheri. Not sure if I can get to book 2 this month or not. I definitely want to read Sworn to Silence - I'm intrigued.

I thought the same about book 1 of JJ Graves. I liked the humor but wasn't as thrilled about the handling of the suspense. But I thought I'd read book 2 to see if I want to read the entire series or not.
