message 2: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new) - rated it 4 stars

Trisha | 30284 comments Hannah, if it's okay, I plan to read a story per day and post :)

message 3: by ☆☆Hannah☆☆, The Book Junkie (new) - rated it 4 stars

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6935 comments That's fine.

Leah I'll read this with you.

Jessica | 729 comments I hope I can join you girls soon! I'm really excited to read this.

Ashlyn | 1842 comments I'm in!

message 7: by Vicki (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Trisha, can you explain this book a little? You said you'll read a story per day. I saw that this has books 1-11? Is it like The Odyssey and the chapters are called books or are there actually that many books within the 500 plus pages? If you have the book already, approximately how long is each "book"? LOL

message 8: by Jessica (new) - added it

Jessica | 729 comments Vicki, I can answer at least part of your question! The Bane Chronicles are part of the Shadowhunter World so it's related to the Mortal Instruments (City of Bones series) and The Infernal Devices (Clockwork Angel series) Each "story" that Trisha is talking about is basically a novella. I'm not sure how many pages each is because I'm on my way for work but I can check later if nobody answers by then!

message 9: by Vicki (new) - added it

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Thanks. So is it better (or necessary) to read the other series first?

message 10: by Sydney (new) - added it

Sydney (floralbrunette) | 2 comments I hope it's ok if I join you

message 11: by ☆☆Hannah☆☆, The Book Junkie (new) - rated it 4 stars

☆☆Hannah☆☆ | 6935 comments Each story is about 50 pages. I was told they take place in between both series. So, if that is true than you should be okay if you haven't read both series of books.

Laura | 118 comments Is it okay if I join? I already read the book in summer but I would love to write about it with you all!:)

OH scratch that

I saw a review that said this book has SPOILERS for both series so don't read it unless you've read those series.
so...I would say No Vicki. You probably want to wait to read the series first......

I can see now after reading this story why it would be better if you have at least read City Of Bones. That way you will have an idea of what's going on.
