Trisha, can you explain this book a little? You said you'll read a story per day. I saw that this has books 1-11? Is it like The Odyssey and the chapters are called books or are there actually that many books within the 500 plus pages? If you have the book already, approximately how long is each "book"? LOL
Vicki, I can answer at least part of your question! The Bane Chronicles are part of the Shadowhunter World so it's related to the Mortal Instruments (City of Bones series) and The Infernal Devices (Clockwork Angel series) Each "story" that Trisha is talking about is basically a novella. I'm not sure how many pages each is because I'm on my way for work but I can check later if nobody answers by then!
Each story is about 50 pages. I was told they take place in between both series. So, if that is true than you should be okay if you haven't read both series of books.
Is it okay if I join? I already read the book in summer but I would love to write about it with you all!:)

OH scratch that
I saw a review that said this book has SPOILERS for both series so don't read it unless you've read those series.
so...I would say No Vicki. You probably want to wait to read the series first......

This one is my favourite, glad you liked it!
I liked "What Really Happened in Peru," but I liked "The Runaway Queen" more. I was disappointed by the ending of the first story. (view spoiler) I don't have any complaints about the second story.
oooh okayMidnight heir
I didn't finish Clockwork Angel series, so I wasn't sure (view spoiler)
I assume you've read Mortal Instruments series all the way through? I haven't read the last one....
(view spoiler)
I'm still really liking this one!
No, I have not read all of the Mortal Instruments yet. I'm hoping not to have too much trouble knowing who people are.
Hannah wrote: "No, I have not read all of the Mortal Instruments yet. I'm hoping not to have too much trouble knowing who people are."ha! I the Mortal Instruments a loooong time ago
tatiana and grace may be in that series :)
Hannah wrote: "The Rise Of The Hotel Dumort[spoilers removed]"
ha! I didn't see that coming at the end either!! :)
I finally finished a few of my bigger books I was reading at the same time. I think I'm going to start reading 2 of the short stories a day :)
Reading 2 a day works. I have a lot books I need to get started. So, the sooner we finish this book the better.
well, it looks like we have 6 stories leftwant to do three today, three tomorrow?
we'll be done then!
When we started I didn't have a lot of books but I went to the library the other day. Needless to say I got carried away with books.

it's awful, because I can request books from my house and then go pick them up. I almost always have 10 - 17 books waiting for me to pick up every few days. lol it's so bad!
What to buy the Shadowhunter who has everythinguhhhhh!!! This has been my favorite favorite one! SOOOO much fun and good stuff!!!
EEEE (view spoiler)
I liked "Vampires, Scones, and Edmund Herondale" because it was nice to see (view spoiler), but I preferred "The Midnight Heir" because it was nice to see (view spoiler)
What To Buy The Shadowhunter Who Has Everything(view spoiler)
Right now it will hard to top this story. Although, I have liked all the stories so far.
The Last Stand Of The New York InstituteI can see now after reading this story why it would be better if you have at least read City Of Bones. That way you will have an idea of what's going on.
