TY! ^_^ Wish I could've gotten around to reading more for this, but I'm glad I finished!

Hope all of you are having fun getting your books read. I will count any books that are turned in before I write up the final report on Saturday Aug 1st between Noon and 1:00pm (US time).

Thank you for hosting a fun and organized challenge, Sunny! I love when a challenge helps me get to books I've been meaning to read for ages.

I managed a measly 1: The Time Machine
Thanks for organising this challenge and hopefully I'll get to finish this reading list another time!

I didn't read the YA series I had planned for, but still got 2 sci-fi and 1 non-fiction space books reads. Maybe I'll save that YA series for next year's Serial Reader Challenge. 😊

Woot! Woot! I managed to pull it off. Read three books in one day and just barely scrapped in a finish here.

🎈Congratulations!🎈 Margie! On your successful splashdown! It was a privilege to have you on board!
You're welcome! I had fun keeping up with everyone's progress. There are always books I've been meaning to read for ages ... I'm not sure that list ever shrinks . 😀

Even just 1 book is never measly ... it's a book and it's an accomplishment! How did you like the book?
🎈Congratulations!🎈 Jamie! On your successful 1 book out of 3 splashdown! It was a privilege to have you on board!
The other 2 books will be there whenever you get the chance to read'em. Have fun reading the rest of the year!

🎈Congratulations!🎈 TerryJane! On your successful splashdown! It was a privilege to have you on board!
I've got several books I'm saving for next year's Serial Reader. I have several stacked neatly around my living room until I can get them on my shelves, which are still holding this year's reads.

3 books in 1 day ... that sounds like me! Were they long, medium, or short?

You're welcome and thank you Megan ... I had a great time. 😊

Here is the final report for the Turn On, Turn In, Space Out project for which we had 23 volunteers.
For reasons unknown and beyond control, 5 participants who planned to space out were unable to lift off.
3 others lifted off and are still wandering around the Twilight -- their missions partially complete.
The rest of us (numbering 15) had a successful mission and splashdown.
101 of 123 books were read.
By my standards we have had a gosh-darn all around fantastic mission and I am proud of all the participants. It was a privilege to be their leader.

Thanks! This was fun!!

You are definitely able to leave this group without a mod doing it for you.
I'll be sending you a private message with directions.

🎈Congratulations!🎈 Kelly! On your successful splashdown! It was a privilege to have you on board!

24 participants
4 on launch pad.
3 still out in the Twilight.
17 completed to splashdown.
107 of 125 books were read.

Thanks for taking the time to check back with this challenge.
There will always be those who sign up but don't participate.
Some readers don't tally their reads for the month until the start of the following months. So, yes, there will also always be active participants who check in after the challenge ends.
Thanks for seeing to the delayed landings, Sunny.
107 out of 125 books read is a great performance!

I missed a couple on the last challenge I lead ... I checked back a couple of times after the ending, but got busy with other things and forgot to go back after a week had gone by.
I was really pleased with how things went with this challenge. With everything being kind of crazy in the real world, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as participation -- including my own!
Looking forward to leading another one when I'm needed.
