October Monthly Challenge: Participants' Lists Thread
Yay! My first full month here and I finished the monthly challenge. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep the pace up in the future, but I was happy with this one. The Michigan book was one I never would have read had it not been for this challenge. And I was certainly happy to have found that one. The pick-it-for-me was good too.1. I'm calling it quits because I got caught up in Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. I had read the first book five years ago and wasn't very impressed, but since then I have read all of her Merry Gentry books and loved them so I thought I would revisit the Anita books. Some of my friends and relatives have bought me the books in the series over the past few years so I actually own all of them through Blood Noir. Well, I'm hooked. I put one down and then pick the next one up immediately. They aren't even that fantastic, but I just can't stop reading! So, this has thrown me way off course and I know I won't get to the rest of these challenges books.7/10 completed

Anita Blake can be addictive, sure there are better books out there, but there's something about that strong heroine and her necromancing that's very appealing...

Thanks Kasia. I wasn't sure I was gonna get that last book done in time. I spent 8 hours reading yesterday! lol
Didn't find a 2-country book that I could get into so I suppose that's me for this month and, considering it's Oct 31st here in NZ, I'm ok about it :)
10/10 Finally made it!
