Rebekah | 98 comments I've read 33 books in total this year. 26/33 are part of the PopSugar Reading Challenge. I have other reading lists that I'm trying to work on: Dr. Seuss's Complete Reading List, The "BBC Believes You Only Read 6 of These Books" list, and ALA's Banned Books Lists, just to name a few.

.•*¨`*•✿ ✿•*¨`*•. Christine .•*¨`*•✿ ✿•*¨`*• I've adjusted mine. I started at 225, but since increased it to 300 as I was over 150 at the end of May.

Jennifer Van Beveren | 93 comments Put my goal at 85 for this year. This is the first time I'm keeping track of what and how many I'm reading. So far I'm up to 68.

message 104: by Joann (new)

Joann I've set my goal to 100 and am currently 1 behind.

message 105: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaharris) | 319 comments I set mine at 52 and will be adjusting it up. I have almost reached that goal with all of my side reads added in.
Since this is my first time measuring the amount I read, it will be interesting to find out what the numbers at the end of the year are.

Rebekah, I'm doing that BBC list too! Trying as much as possible to use an unread book from that for the Popsugar challenge.

message 107: by Adriana (new)

Adriana Pereira (adrianacecilia) I set mine to 50, I've only read 13 so far (9 behind schedule). This year is not going so well! I'm still hoping I can catch up but it's going to be hard and I'll probably end up skipping a few weeks of the popsugar challenge.

message 108: by Louise (new)

Louise | 22 comments 318. I know it's a strange number, but I can't resist a good book challenge, and I joined so many that I will need to read 318 in order to finish them all.
Fortunately I am enjoying reading at the moment, and so make plenty of time for it every day. I have no doubt at my current rate that I will meet the target.

message 109: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 122 comments I wanted to read more and was having a hard time picking books so this challenge came along at a perfect time. I thought at first I might not be able to keep up and put a goal of 48 and then changed it to 52.

This challenge has really made a difference for me. I am enjoying trying new things. I am getting most my books from the library so not totally reading in order but I am ahead in number of books read and think I will meet the goal no problem.

Brittany (booksandbottles) (gamerkiti) So I just changed my 2015 goal. I had it set at 70 and right now that just doesn't seem like I will make it, so for now I just dropped it to 52 to match this challenge. Hopefully I can surpass my new goal in hopes of hitting the 70 book mark!

message 111: by Erica (new)

Erica | 214 comments I'm tempted to up mine since I've been averaging 2 books a week since I started the challenge in April and am at 30 already, BUT I'm having a baby in 7 weeks and have no idea how much time I'll have for reading then...

message 112: by Jody (new)

Jody (jodybell) | 531 comments Erica, about ZERO time. For the next five years or so. ;) Well, that's been my experience anyway.

Good luck! <3

message 113: by Erica (new)

Erica | 214 comments Haha that's what I figured. I think I can get a bit of reading in while breastfeeding when the baby is still at the sleepy newborn stage, but may be switching to audiobooks at some point soon, even though I'm not really a fan. Oh well, I'm done work on Tuesday so I will binge read till the baby comes :)

message 114: by Jodez (new)

Jodez (jodez4) | 16 comments I'm at 54/60 so far, sadly only 21 of those are for this challenge. I'm hoping to catch up, but I'm starting a uni course in a few weeks so things may slow right down...

message 115: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaharris) | 319 comments Erica, I spent time reading to my kids books I liked while still babies that is. Both of them love to read now, even my 15 year old son.

message 116: by Sophie (new)

Sophie (sawphie) I already read 49 out of my 50 books goal for this year. I'm going to update it to 70 and see if I can met it.

message 117: by JoJo (new)

JoJo Kirkman (jojo2013) I've read 46 out of 60 books. I'm ahead of schedule by 8 books because I read a few Roald Dahl books which are really short and I finished in a day.

message 118: by Doris (new)

Doris (webgeekstress) I originally set my goal to 52, but I was doing so well, that I bumped in up to 76 (1.5/week). Even that's been going well, so now I've made it an even 100. Right now, I'm one book behind, but I expect I can catch up.

message 119: by Sophie (new)

Sophie (sawphie) Wow, going from 52 to 100 is a big step! Maybe if I read short books I could met it too ;)

message 120: by Francesca (new)

Francesca | 391 comments My goal was originally set at 20 at the start of the year, last week I upped it to 25. It's not a lot compared to some other people's goals on here but although I used to be a massive bookworm and have always loved reading, the last few years I barely read at all. In fact, last year I think I only read three books over the whole year so I'm already doing a lot better than I was last year and that was my main goal. Plus I don't want to set my goal too high in case I don't manage to reach it. I'd rather surpass my goal and feel like I achieved it then not reach my goal.

message 121: by Aline (new)

Aline (thousanduniverses) | 53 comments My goal was to read 53 books, at least one per week. I went over that goal weeks ago, I already read 70 books now :D

message 122: by Steven (new)

Steven Tackett | 66 comments I'm just glad I'm getting back into reading. Too many good books and not enough effort to read them prior to this year. I think I want to bump my goal from 60 to 100. I am at 71 now and am more than confident I can reach that by the end of December.

message 123: by Zaz, Mood Minion (new)

Zaz | 1387 comments Mod
I'm at 123/136 (I won't upgrade), which is a lot better than my 55 books in 2014. I'm really happy that I discovered plenty of new authors and books because I'm more active on Goodreads :)

message 124: by Debra (new)

Debra Barstad I had set mine to 52 to match the challenge but since have upped it to 100 once and now have upped it to 150 and I am at 107/150 and am pretty sure that I will reach this goal. It helps having this group to motivate me to read more.

message 125: by Monique (new)

Monique | 34 comments My goal was to read the 52 books and I've definitely passed that now. I didn't think I would be able to make it. I set the same goal last year and only read about 30.

message 126: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (missams) | 6 comments My goal is 100 and I have past it. I am not sure by how much.
