Ooh, I hadn't thought of that one as I've got the British version, which is blue. I bet you'll love the Ghostwalkers though. I'm in the middle of book 4 right now - enjoying the Norton twins. Good stuff!

above the writting box, it says add book/auther -go on that .. type in the book/auther then click add, and then at the bottom of the pop up on the left side click cover.

OK, I'm new to this reading challenge thing. I tend to read books by series, rather then by cover color.

For example, I am currently reading the Dark-Hunter series. In order to participate in the challenge, I would need to set aside the series and read something else.

Is this what everyone does?

OOH, I just finished the Dark Hunter Series, do you like it? How far into it are you? Anyway, I wanted to start the J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, so I decided to try to use as many of those books to fulfill the challenges I joined. And I filled in with as many of my TBR books as possible. And to finish, I looked around GR to find other suggestions. BUT it's my first month of challenges so that could be wrong.

Well, I DID finally find a yellow (thank you Arcadia--I've never heard of the yellow you picked out, so I'm going to "steal" your suggestion.) :oP Now, to just find a BLACK.

Hi Tara.

I am only on book #3. Just started it.

I read 1-4 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and loves it. I read the reviews for books 5 & 6 and decided I will skip them. I might read 7, not sure. Basically J.R. Ward changed the genre of the books (not really romance anymore) and I also don't really like what she was doing with the characters.

She is a fantastic writer, and you end up feeling like you know the characters. So when she takes a certain direction in their lives, I find myself thinking "he wouldn't have done that...." or being highly disappointed in what she has done to the character.

I dunno, I just lost my enthusiasm for the series. I am disappointed in how she chose the direction of the remainder of the brothers.

But thats just me. Tons of people LOVED the entire series!

Hi Laura.

I loved the dh series but some of the books did make me crazy, however the very next book would correct that feeling. In case no one has told you make sure you actually read the dream hunter books too. I was going to skip them and read them later but someone stopped me and it turns out the story lines merge. I can't wait to hear what you think.

I just wish she'd hurry up with that next Angels book. And yes, I DO have it marked on my calendar. Gotta love computer calendars, they let you keep track of sssooooo many important things, like when your fav authors have new books coming out, birthdays, anniversaries, new series release dates, when books are due at the library, when--er, is it just me or do I keep track of a LOT of reading related things???

Ok, I admit it, I'm an addict. Sigh, what can I say? Just glad there are no 12 step programs for us bookaholics. :o) I was going through the group list earlier and picking out some books that looked interesting and seeing if the library had them. It didn't have about half of the ones that I thought looked interesting (and that I hadn't already read) but, er, well, um--my reserve list at the library? Its 49 right now. And I only got about half way through the group list too.
