For you I pick In An Instant by Suzanne Redfearn because it sounds like it has quite a bit of suspense to it and I love me some suspense.

Atlas (Cultivated #2) by Elin Peer because of the beautiful male specimen gracing the cover. ;-)

Your bonus: The Best Thing by Mariana Zapata because I noticed it was listed in the "spoilers" too so I'm guessing that's one you have had your eye on in particular, lol.

Happy reading! :-)

For you I'm going to choose The Martian by Andy Weir because a lot of people seem to like it and find it funny, and Greed (Amber Monroe Crime Thriller, #1) by C.M. Sutter because I liked the second paragraph of the blurb. As a bonus book House of Many Ways (Howl's Moving Castle, #3) by Diana Wynne Jones . I love this series.

Thanks for the picks. I started The Martian about four or five years ago, but didn't get very far. This time, I'm gonna finish it. And it'll be nice to finish up a series with House Of Many Ways. And Greed isn't normally the kind of book I read, but I've been getting really into the suspense/thriller genre lately. It'll be weird reading my name over and over again (the main character is named Amber, too), but I'm sure I'll stop noticing it after the first few chapters. ^_^

No problem, I had to be careful with mine as well, since my library's Overdrive selections aren't as vast as one would hope. But anyways, for your old book, I went with The Book of Essie by Meghan MacLean Weir because it sounded really interesting. For the new book, I went with Starvation Heights A True Story of Murder and Malice in the Woods of the Pacific Northwest by Gregg Olsen because it sounded so interesting that it's now on my own to-read list (you'll have to let me know if it ends up being good or not). And for your bonus pick, the second I saw you hadn't read Battle Royale by Koushun Takami yet, even though you owned a copy, there were no longer any other choice. It's one of my favorites that I've been meaning to reread forever, and even before this I'd been planning on ordering a copy when I get paid next. ^_^
