Mika J. Elijah | 6 comments i'm a fan of fictional works but it's really hard to find characters that i can see my self in, so i thought this could work as a thread!

CANON ADHD:
The Love Letters of Abelard and Lily
- i really liked this one!! one protagnoists had ADHD (& a mood disorder?) and the other one is autistic

Connection Error
- the representation was really good!! it's a gay (erotica) book and one of the characters has ADHD

What If It's Us
[i dont remember anything]

The Boy With the Butterfly Mind
- the main character Jamie has ADHD! it was frustrating at timesbut it made me really really emotional

The Extraordinaries + the (upcoming) sequels
- the main charcater is gay and has ADHD! it's abut superheros and about wanting to be and being extraordinary + there's lots of humor. this book glorifies the police tho! TJ Klune has published a statement about this and apologized with the promise of heavily editing the already written sequel

The Lightning Thief + the sequels
- all of the protagonists have ADHD & Dyslexia :)

HEADCANON ADHD:
Carry On
- a magical, fantasy, queer, enemys-to-lovers YA & in my headcanon the protagonist simon has ADHD!!

Finna
- a queer anti-capitalist novella about wormholes in ikea! there are two main characters, one of which is Jules, they have SO MANY ADHD symptoms that i'm confused how the author didn't make it canon

Cemetery Boys
- this is a queer, fantasy YA with a trans protagonist. it's
incredibly good! in my opinion one of the main characters - julian - has ADHD. as soon as i finish the book you can look up my review!! julian is just as jules (the main character in Finna). they both have sooo many symptoms of ADHD that it's unbelievable that it's not canon

E (feedmewords00) | 6 comments The main character of the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan has ADHD and I presume all the sequels for the series (which I haven’t read yet).

Mika J. Elijah | 6 comments True. I think most of the main characters have ADHD and Dyslexia in the Percy Jackson series (I’ve only listend to the first one so far tho)
