I just invited my entire friend list for the millionth time
That’s great! It’s crazy how much this group is expanding each day
hi! i’ve just told my friends about this group as well.
We're so close to 500! What I've noticed is that people love telling or talking about themselves, so maybe we should have topics or challenges that kinda make people talk about themselves
Ooo that's a good idea! Hmm, maybe an all about you reading challenge or something? What were you thinking?

yeah the all about you thing seems to be a good idea. But what could it be, because I can't think of a type of reading challenge that isn't prompt based

By the way guys Peachy Keen Reads has asked us to stop inviting her to the group - she wanted me to let you all know.
Maybe you only read books written by authors from your country, or where you would say you were from if someone asked about your ethnicity
That would be cool! It would be something unique and different too
yes that’s a great idea! and we can also each pick a book by an author from our country and say why we like/dislike/would read it.
and maybe we can even incorporate the idea into our games. for example, what country would you choose to be from if you had the choice to do that for a day.
You could read a book by an author from there
Also Tessa if you and inanna want to work together to create the Heritage Reading Challenge that would be great!

Oh no it's alright. Just tell me when you normally set up the suggestion topics and polls and I'll take care of the rest

Hmm well lets see -I guess I normally put out a spot to suggest themes around the 18th? Somtimes earlier, then leave it open until we have a good number of suggestions, then put out the poll. I set the end date a few days (like 2-4) after opening, then put out the spot to suggest books.

Since we now have new moderators and a larger number, I have made this folder and thread for us to discuss things, chat about the group and ideas, and get to know each other better!
