My apologies to anyone who may be confused, Meggy and I were talking and she was telling me about this bear story, that she apparently posted in the chat thread a long time ago, but I missed it. She was disappointed because I had never commented on it, so I decided to make it right, so I just copied and pasted what she said to me and commented on it. 😁
And here I thought she'd actually gone back through pages and pages of messages and found my original post, and I was amazed that I'd told the story in exactly the same words 6 months ago as I'd just told her! Not so... 🤣
I thought about going through all the pages to find it... but decided this was MUCH easier...🤣🤣
Well Emma is lazy, but I did find my original post... 😏🤣"I was out hunting a groundhog who has been wreaking havoc in my gardens. As usual it was nowhere to be found when I have a gun in my hands! Some ducks flew overhead and landed in a swampy area at the edge of the woods. I decided I might as well go down and look at them...I took one peak into the woods and who do I see but Mama Bear!! Ok, I like seeing them once in a while, but I don't really like the idea that they are hanging around where I go walking all the time!"
So actually I was defending my garden, not working in it... 😂

My guns are not pellet guns. If I had to, I could take care of a bear...or other such large mammals.😉

Is anyone else having trouble with GR this morning? Updates aren't appearing until they're an hour old and some notifications aren't coming through either.

Some people's updates won't show up, but others will...like for some reason, I haven't seen any update from you in probably a week!

From the look on it's face, I belive the cub thinks you are it's Mama! Four legged babies are the best babies, in my opinion!😁 They are the only ones I've ever had...except for ducks, geese, and chickens which all have two legs.😃🤣😂😄

😄 Glad you liked it, Al! The poet is actually George MacDonald, but Whittier did write some very nice winter poetry as well.
I'm somewhat technically challenged too, but it's basically just a matter of uploading the pictures and lining them up with the appropriate verses.
