Oh, my!!! I would have fainted! My family had a vacation home in the Poconos and there were black bears everywhere, but I never saw anything like that!My mom worried about being chased by a bear. Her theory? She said she would keep running around a tree really fast so the bear couldn't get her!!! LOL! I often wonder if the hospital gave her the wrong baby when I was born! LOL!!!! (I look too much like my Grammy looked for that to be the case, though!) I do love my mom, but sometimes I wonder!

I mean, we've got a dog named Ruth, you can't get more people than that... 😂😂
I haven't always named all my puppies, because with goldens it can be hard to tell some of them apart until they're at least a couple weeks old, and often the new owners pick a name before I can! We did name all 6 of Carina's first litter, let me see if I can remember all of them! There were 2 girls, who we named Zippy and Sadie Sanbourne, and 4 boys, Steve (after a friend who I thought he kinda resembled!😂), Chip Delmonte, Engelbert Humperdink...oh dear, I can't remember the last boy's name! 🤦🏻♀️
The only boy from my dog Nellie's last litter was sold to a man with the last name Clare, so I named him Augustine, for Augustine St. Clare in Uncle Tom's Cabin. I called him Auggie for short.

When our beagle had puppies we named them Johnny, Jessie, Jenny, Jimmy and Jack. We kept Johnny and Jessie. It's so hard to let them go. Jessie was a girl and Johnny was a boy. They were something! When we took them out to go potty, Jessie lifted her leg and Johnny sat! It figures I would have confused pets, doesn't it???Pammy Jo
