I'm just showing that it can be done! 🤣 Ok, I admit that I think this guy is nuts to get this close, but he worked (maybe still does) around black bears for many years and he says his chances of being murdered is 60,000 times greater than his chances of being killed by a bear!

She was somewhat reassured when I told her that mama black bears don't usually defend their cubs like the grizzlies do. She wanted to clobber me that first time last spring though. 😄

Emma you would have laughed at me...I was just out with the dogs and when I was coming back in there was an ENORMOUS spider by the doorknob! I finally managed to knock it off with my watering can. When I stepped in my mom wanted me to go back out for something and I said NO WAY! 🤣
